Prices are reasonable and the food is very good. The reviewer who praised the BLT was right on. They took this ordinary sandwich and made it special. It was a fresh crispy crunchy sandwich which included a nice layer of bacon cooked just right. Coffee was way above average. The only waitress was efficient and personable. When the lunch crowd poured in she was grace under fire. Handled it like it was no big deal. I really enjoyed this quaint little cafe. I only wish it was closer to Baltimore.

A small but very capable restaurant offering good old home cooking! If you wait, it’s because they are cooking your food from scratch…so wait! It’s worth it!! Third time here while visiting by boat and I don’t care if their is another place around..this place is the best it can get with great food, very reasonable prices and a friendly staff! Ignore “anything” negative, these people must be from some other planet! Outstanding place!!!!!

This place is severely understaffed for being the only breakfast spot in town. They had one girl working about 12 different tables on a surprisingly busy Monday morning. It’s a shame because the food wasn’t bad, but clearly she was overwhelmed. I noticed what appeared to be the manager in the back on the phone for most of the meal. He probably could have hung up the phone and came out to help. Oh well. Maybe next time.

The employees seemed very nice and the environment seemed very friendly . Aside from that I don’t recommend the establishment. My lemonade was basically just lemon water which i used to wash down my incredibly watery chipped beef. I paid 10$ for 3 sodas and a lemonade , and I waited longer that I would have liked to for my check.

Great food and friendly service. Can get busy which is a testament to how good it is, combined with not many other choices in town. Delicious treats (scones, cinnamon rolls, etc.) baked on premise. Highly recommend!

Food was excellent, service good. I did, however notice that the floor/carpeting and entrance stair carpeting need replacing very badly. That would leave a much better impression to diners at the Cafe!

Great food. Ridiculously slow service. Serves nothing but breakfast until 12pm. Witnessed staff laughing behind customer’s back about ‘only breakfast before 12pm’. My “bottomless” cup of coffee got refilled 0 times.

Very busy on a Sunday morning, but worth the wait. Eggs Benedict were excellent. Was fun sitting at the counter and watching the cook work his magic. We will return.

Thought some of the breakfast food was pricey. Coffee was really good but would have been better hot. Breakfast for two with coffee was $25.00 plus $5.00 tip…$30.00 total.
