I can not say enough good about this Bob Evan’s!! We stopped for the night in Tipp City and breakfast here was an amazing start of our day.
Our waitress Teresa was one of the nicest people I’ve encountered. All smiles great attitude just super friendly. It was a pleasure talking to her and she is an excellent server!
The resturant is full.of friendly staff. We were seated without delay and the food was delicious. Pancakes eggs, home fries and sausage links; all were very good.
I highly recommend stopping here and enjoying a good meal!

Most of the Bob Evans these days have been really disappointing, but not this one, not today. My family and I walked in and were promptly seated. After a few short minutes, our server came and took our drink orders, then quickly came back and took our order. Our food came out quickly and it was fresh and really good. I was really in need of some solid Bob Evans, and this location finally hit the spot! I’m gonna make the drive back one of these mornings just for breakfast. Great job!

The restaurant was not busy but we had to wait a few minutes for anyone to notice that we were waiting to be seated. The greeter was far from friendly and grudgingly showed us to a table, slapped down some menus, and left. Service was very slow for the simple soup/sandwich combo we ordered. My companion’s soup wasn’t hot at all. Had to send it back to be reheated. I pointed out to our server that the toast on my sandwich was burnt black, and all she said was, “sorry about that.” Didn’t offer to remake it. I literally had to sit there and scrape the burnt stuff off with a knife. Prices are exorbitant. $3.99 for a glass of milk or orange juice. Nearly $20 for a simple turkey dinner platter. Bob Evans has definitely gone downhill and is no longer the bustling, welcoming, comfort food restaurant it used to be. We will not go back.

I ordered my take out dinner around 2PM for Christmas dinner at 6:30. The pick up time was supposed to be 6:15. I stood at the counter for 15 minutes before anyone acknowleded my existance. I was told my food would be coming soon. It wasn’t finished until 6:45. We were late. The biggest kicker: we were charged over 20 bucks for a tip on the website when I ordered. Buyer beware!

This Bob Evans is very typical. My husband had the Wildfire Chicken salad. He said the chicken was freshly made and good, but the rest of the salad was just ok. I ordered the Honey Butter Chicken & Biscuit. It had 2 breaded chicken breast (brought 1 home), mashed potatoes and carrots. The chicken set on the open biscuit. That looked horrible as it was smashed with butter that looked very greasy. Obviously, that was wasted, but overall the other food was good. Our waiter was very friendly.

No way this would serve 6. We ordered the family breakfast that serves “up to 6” and have ordered many times in the past. Our whole meal was disappointing. Sausage was overcooked/burnt. Pancakes were undercooked. The eggs were good but there was barely any. The potatoes were dry. I’m not sure what was going on today but no way I spent $50+ on DD for this.

Just a quick thought that came to mind when visiting my local Bob Evans. My parents have taken me and my siblings to Bob Evans restaurants since the 70’s/early 80’s. They liked it enough to take us to their Farm Days in Gallipolis, Ohio.
Anyhow, I know they changed owners and the shrinkflation that continues to affect us all…but come on, you used to get two nice thick slices of banana bread when you selected it as your choice. Instead I received to very thin slices that made my heart sink with disappointment.
I don’t know if this is specific to this particular location, or if it is a mandated serving protocol. It is causing me to have second thoughts about returning.
