Overall just a bad experience from the jump while trying to have a dinner with my family who flew in from all over the country. We paid this place a visit on a Thursday evening. It is self seating and counter service and we were a party of 6 with a baby. I saw two tables about 12 inches apart and since they were both vacant I pushed them together. A man who works for this establishment with a beard came over and rudely told me to ask before I moved any table and before I sat down at a table. Again this place is self seating and just one table down a person did the exact thing only difference is I was brown and the other person was not. Once the food came i truly felt my experience had already been diminished. Food was actually pretty good. Pork chops were a bit over cooked but still has some flavor. The hummus was a little watery and was not a fan of the bean plate. A bit pricey compared to other places I have been. Overall due to the horrible and rude server I will definitely not be paying this place a visit in the future.

Randomly found this on Google Maps, and based on the reviews, wanted to give it a try. Everything is homemade and has such vibrant flavors. The hummus was creamy and well blended – contrasted by some amazing schug. The (pita) bread was cooked stove top to order with an awesome blend of herbs. We also tried the spanakopita hand pie and it was a perfect blend between savory and slightly sweet notes. The staff were friendly and very attentive. I would recommend this to anyone looking for Greek food in the area.

One of my favorites! Greek inspired, quality food made from scratch, including pita style bread! Only wish I could order a variety of small bites for dining alone as you will want to try several ala cart items, in which case the cost & volume is geared towards sharing.

Bluto’s in Portland exceeded all my dining expectations in every way possible. The service was simply outstanding, with a staff that went above and beyond to ensure our experience was nothing short of exceptional. There were not only accommodation and kind, but also impressively knowledgeable about the menu, making recommendations that perfectly suited our preferences. The ambiance at Bluto’s is a true standout. The fusion of Greek cuisine and modern aesthetics creates a one-of-a-kind atmosphere that feels both inviting and contemporary. The wood fired element adds a unique touch that sets the restaurant apart. Everything looked so good, but I ended up getting the grilled lamb skewer with a side of Greek fries. The flavors were an absolute delight, the tender lamb skewer was perfectly frilled, offering a burst of Mediterranean goodness. The Greek fries were crispy, seasoned perfectly, and served as an ideal complement to the dish. Bluto’s has certainly captured my heart and taste buds. From the impeccable service, to the captivating ambiance and mouth watering dishes, its a must visit for anyone seeking a remarkable dining experience in Portland.

Loved the fact that we could order at the counter instead of waiting to be served. Food was great but definitely quite overpriced for how much you get! I love Lamb and was very excited that they had lamb skewers, as not a lot of business use lamb here in Portland. Hummus was good and so was the Wedge salad.

Really enjoyed my meal over at Bluto’s. This is what I would consider a fast(er) casual place where you walk up order but then still wait to get seated. Somewhat of an unconventional format but we didn’t have to wait too long. Wish they had a bit more seating, but the atmosphere in general is really charming and pleasant.

Nice designed casual lunch spot. Order at the counter and pick a seat. On the pricier end for lunch, but the hummus, pita and chicken skewer really hits the spot. Hummus and salads are large enough to share between 2-3 people. Fries are just OK. Pita is really good but has to be ordered separately. Nicely paired with their house lemonade (free refills).

The food is absolutely delicious. I’ve been a couple times and truly have loved everything Ive tried. It’s very casual counter service and the portions are a bit small. That means it’s easy to run up your tab, but you’ll love it!

Casual restaurant serving fresh grilled souvlakis. You order at the counter and wait for a table and the staff will bring you the food when ready. We went on a Saturday evening so a bit of a wait. It’s only 1 skewer for the souvlaki so you’ll want to order a few. The chicken souvlaki was my favorite. It was well marinated, spiced and tender.

They had a fire grill going on and served warm skewers off the grill. The chicken and sausage skewers were perfect along with the spring hummus and pita.
