This was our first time back to this restaurant since the pandemic. Unlike before when a Saturday night would be bustling this time we were only 1 of 2 tables occupied, though they did appear to have a decent stream of take-out orders going. While the service was a little slow with only one hostess/waitress and one sushi chef it was still friendly. But more importantly the sushi was still very fresh and tasty. We shared a seaweed salad and an order of shrimp shumai. The salad was spot on while the shumai was just okay, it appeared to be a little over cooked and on the watery side. We also split 3 rolls between us, each of which had a creative combination of ingredients and a generous number of pieces. We would return again even with the service challenges. Hopefully this restaurant can bounce back some.

I’ve eaten here twice now and both times the food has been delicious. My only complaint was they made my Philly Rolls without cream cheese. I personally enjoy the atmosphere and low lighting. Smaller restaurant and it’s generally quiet.

Friendly wait staff and good food. My fiancee and I live in Philly but go to Longwood Gardens several times a year. We make a point to stop here on way for lunch or dinner. Its always good and never has been crowded. Truly a hidden gem but this secret deserves to be shared

I found the food to be wonderfully good. Everything was fresh and the staff was really attentive and friendly. Even though it is out of my way, I would definitely go back. Great fish tank and nishikigoi pond too.

Quick service, nothing overwhelming in terms of flavour , fish could be fresher. miso tasted stale. The sauce for the soft shell crab was full and diluted. Also place doesn’t serve alcohol.

Appear to be high ratings, so must be a rare occasion that I had a bad batch of meso soup on 2/28/23. Had acute food poisoning GI symptoms in the middle of the night. Very sick .
