The only reason I’m giving less than five stars is we drive from Chatfield to St Charles as this is our favorite spot! When Chatfield shut down my 8yr old was devastated. This time I received a sugar free white water rafter with whip and drizzle (not SF) on top. They remade it and were SO sweet, the remake had no drizzle, still whip, and tasted like mocha (not a mocha fan) and had grounds in it. This is NOT my typical experience here and I will still be back, I was just disappointed this time around. The biggest issue is sugar makes me severely ill, so I have to be extra cautious.

Drinks and food are usually pretty decent but inconsistent. Staff is what I’d call “local fare” so when you give them a $20 bill and say you’d like to buy for the next person in line you should expect them to say thank you and put it in the tip bucket. Hot coffee and room temperature IQ which is as good as you’re going to find in this town.

This is a great place to relax and have a cup of coffee.
Update: 3-26-23 I ordered turtle latte and mini BLT . I thought the coffee was really good, the soup was thick and really spicy. The sandwich was okay. I don’t have plans to order this entree again.
Update: 7-5-24 very happy with this visit. I ordered vanilla latte with a spot of whipped cream and club on rye. This is going to my usual now when I’m in town.
Update: 11-27-24 Club on Rye is definitely the best sandwich here.

If you are camping in Whitewater State Park or traveling through on your way to Rochester, you should swing by! Just a friendly environment and everything is fresh. They make the sandwiches fresh so you can make special requests. They serve breakfast, lunch, smoothies and coffee drinks. Super cute local store. I tried the peach-pear-apricot smoothie and baked granola bar, which they warm up upon request, and my fiance had the cabin club on a croissant. Delicious!!

Well worth the short jog off the interstate for a very good coffee. Roasted on-site, ensures a fresh and incredibly smooth roast. With an A&W and filling station next door, you’re set up for the best stop within a 100+ mile stretch of the interstate.
