We got here pretty close to closing time and was worried they were not going to take us in. To our surprise the bartender who served us was amazing. She was super positive and patience with us even though it’s a Sunday night. 5 stars for service that’s hard to find these days! Thank you!

Had my birthday dinner here and loved every minute of it! I made a reservation for the outdoor patio which I would highly recommend and we were seated within a couple minutes of arriving. Our server Reagan, hope I’m spelling that right, was amazing and made our experience that much better. The Calamari appetizer was delicious and the Blu platter was excellent. My only critique on the platter was the cocktail sauce was super heavy on the fresh horseradish which was too much for me. I recommend the JI Fog cocktail and the banana foster cheesecake if you save room for dessert . They provide either sorbet or a glass of champagne for your birthday which was a nice touch.

For a truly fantastic seafood experience, with a very inviting atmosphere and service, then Blu Oyster Sushi & Seafood is the venue to go to. Our server Rachel was extremely attentive and very helpful with explaining the menu. With a wide array of assorted seafood and land lover dishes, you’ll never go wrong with whatever your palate is savoring for. Top shelf coctails, wines and a a nice craft beer selection to pair with any meal. Great food, service, prices, and overall experience were all perfect! Keep up the great work !

I often come to Blu Oyster for sushi and appetizers, but last weekend we stopped in for brunch and I was so surprised at how delicious all of the food tasted. The lobster biscuits and gravy were unbelievably good! We also enjoyed the oyster hash and crab cake benedict.

Came here at 3pm on Sunday, we were 1 of maybe 3 tables in the place, we were sat and the first waitress we dealt with was just standing next to the empty table behind us on her phone which was a little strange and not a good way to start off.

We can’t wait to return to the Blu Oyster. Wonderful staff and everything we ordered was delicious. Katie was our server and she did an exceptional job. Attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable. The calamari was top 5 I’ve ever had. Portions for the specialty rolls was generous. My favorite was the John’s Island. SO good! This is a great addition to the community and definitely worth checking out.

The server was great. Very attentive with decent knowledge of the menu and ingredients. The food however fell short. The oysters were served almost warm and had a milky look to them. They were not cleaned well, tasted odd, and were sent back. The sushi was a large roll and creative, but also was room temperature and the server told us they might be having an issue with the cooler. The tempura veggies were delicious. Perfectly battered. Just the right amount of salt and the veggies were still crispy. My catch of the day had good taste, but was grossly overcooked. The cauliflower was ok, but could have used some seasoning. My other sides lacked any flavor at all, but the plate presentation was pretty. The fried shrimp and fish were delicious. Great breading and not over fried. Hush puppies had a great flavor as well. The tuna tartar was average at best. Not a lot of flavor, but at least it was served cold. The Caesar was probably the worst one I’ve ever had. Again lacking flavor. The size was huge, but didn’t deliver on taste. I’ve heard great things, so I’ll try again, but I don’t have high hopes for my return visit based on this one.

We had a reservation for a party of 4. When we came, we were seated to the table, but after a couple of minutes somebody came and asked us to move to another table. ( Smaller one ) we ordered appetizers, pork belly, and fried calamari ( it was pretty good) for main dishes, we ordered 2 plates of scallops, grilled salmon and fish of the day. In one of the plates, 2 scallops were fully burned . The salmon was overcooked and completely dry. For desert, we ordered a Creme Brulee, which was completely disaster ( the worst we ever tried) it was more like pooding than Creme Brulee. When the server saw that, we just tried it from the sides and didn’t eat. They didn’t charge us for the dessert. Wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

So the entrees were good, our waiter was fantastic, but we ordered mashed potatos and they literally had little pieces of plastic in them? Someone who was maybe the owner or manager removed that item from the bill but only offered to replace the potatos, we had only eaten a small amount, but at that point we really didnt want more potatos that might have more plastic. Maybe if another dish was offered or part of the meal was compted my review would have been a bit higher. Also hushpuppies came out on a gluten free plate so there were some issues that occured.

Wow! What an amazing experience! Not going to lie I was a little hesitant at first but so glad we followed through and gave this place a shot! Everything was on point. The caesar salad was one of the best I’ve ever had. Sushi was on point. Got the John’s island roll with honey mustard…who knew! Mussels with curry fantastic, creme brulee and oh good lawd that banana cheesecake was out of this world good!
