Fantastic restaurant with a historic menu and great service! We both ordered the $65.00 three course dinner and really enjoyed it. The 3 course offered historic recipes that chefs recreated from decades ago when the queen was still doing crossings. The food was a little different than what you find in the rest of LA, but we really enjoyed it. Shout out to Ruben who provided great service during our meal.

We decided to eat dinner here as we were staying on the ship, and glad we did! The restaurant is on the starboard side of the vessel with a nice view of the water and Long Beach.

Our waiter was very attentive and took note of allergy concerns very carefully. We shared a salad and had the Seafood Tower + add Lobster, and it was great! The salmon was melt in your mouth delicious! I would also suggest the Colonel Warden cocktail, quite tasty!

We’ll definitely return if the opportunity presents itself. Would also recommend a stay aboard the boat, a fun experience!

The fish and chips were delicious, but the chowder was rather average. The ship and the history add to the atmosphere. Glad we decided to visit.

This was the first time we actually tried a restaurant here, and it didn’t disappoint. Service from Luke was exceptional; that made everything so much better, and he made us feel comfortable and welcome. I will definitely be coming back and visiting the restaurant. Hopefully, we get Luke agai

I’ve stayed aboard the Queen Mary a few times but this was our first time dining at Chelsea’s Chowder House. We had reservations for right at opening at 5pm and it was just the most perfect experience. Our waiter was a gentleman named Abacuc and he was so attentive to my mom and I. My mom was interested in the lamb chops and he highly recommended them while I had the Filet. Our food came out and it was delicious (my Filet was perfectly medium rare) but the lamb was a bit over cooked to my mom’s liking but she never complains she just quietly enjoyed her meal. Abacuc was hovering a bit and saw what my mom saw and he took action! Again, we are not ones to complain about anything but he wanted it to be correct so he brought her a brand new one with all of the sides! He apologized profusely and we assured him that he was going above and beyond! We were already enjoying our experience but he just made it even better. We weren’t going to have dessert but when they showed us the menu, we had to get the crème brûlée. Much to our shock, they comp’ed it. Again, they didn’t need to but they did. He and all the staff here were absolutely wonderful and it’s Christmas Eve! We can’t wait to return!

Pretty good food. We got the clam chowder, wedge salad and shared the fish in chips. Everything was great. The views looking out are wonderful. Just very cool eating on such a historic ship.

Outstanding experience from start to finish! The service was impeccable, and the food was exceptional.

We enjoyed a breathtaking view of Long Beach harbor while soaking up the relaxed and peaceful atmosphere.

Visited for my birthday and was thoroughly impressed. The clam chowder was rich and flavorful, complete with whole clams. Absolutely delicious! The garlic roasted oysters were a standout, bursting with buttery and garlicky flavors reminiscent of my favorite charbroiled oysters in New Orleans.

Our steak was grilled to perfection, and the buttered bread rolls were irresistible – we couldn’t resist getting a second serving.

Overall, a fantastic dining experience. Highly recommend making reservations in advance. They also offer half-off parking validation.

Our youngest son has long wanted to see the Queen Mary. We made dinner reservations on the ship. Since we were dining, we didn’t have to pay admission to the ship. After dinner we explored the ship and had a lot of fun. The food was delicious, but pricey. If you factor in what we didn’t spend on admission, the restaurant was a bargain. Definitely recommend it if you’re wanting to check out the ship.

Had a wonderful dinner here with my friends during our one-night stay while attending Japanese Classic Car Show. The service was impeccable and we enjoyed our meals of burgers and salad with some chicken karaage for an appetizer. Reservations fill up early though but we didn’t have an issue getting seated at least when we arrived late on a Friday night after a long drive from Arizona. The following evening we tried to grab a meal after the car show before leaving but they were booked until much later so we opted to head out and eat on the road.

We were expecting good things here but were somewhat disappointed. We arrived at our booked time of 5pm to find the restaurant wasn’t quite ready. Lots of people were waiting. Eventually they seated people but some groups who came well after us were seated before us. Our waitress was lovely. Our entrees came. My salad was not dressed so I asked for dressing. We were halfway through our entrees when our mains arrived. Since they were lamb, and hot, we had to stop eating our entrees and eat the mains. The food was delicious, but the whole vibe was of disorganisation. We skipped dessert. Our meals cost $137 for food, no drinks + gratuity.
