We love this spot. We had Jeanie as our waitress and she was perfect. The owners Dave and Janet are wonderful. We went on a Thursday night which I highly recommend for the entertainment of Vincent singing classic Sinatra, Neil Diamond and Lee Greenwood’s Proud to be an American! Our dinner was truly exceptional. I had the Lobster Ravioli (pictured) and my wife had the Chicken Romantico. The chef knocked it out of the park on both. We also had the stuffed mushrooms as an appetizer that were some of the best I have ever had. I must say that this was one of the best dining experiences we’ve experienced. Can’t wait to come back!!

It was our 1st experience at 206 Bistro and it was a wonderful one. We were asked when we came through the door if we had reservations because they were booked due to live entertainment. But the nice gentleman at the door said he would check to see if he did have anything available. They did have 2 seats available and we were seated immediately. Our waitress was very friendly and helpful with the menu. We had a delicious meal of shrimp and chicken with side salads. The rich marinara sauce was delicious as was the vegetables and sausage with brown gravy. Portion sizes were generous. We will be returning to try more yummy entrees and appetizers.

6 star food! This is the best restaurant anywhere near Crescent Beach or St Augustine! A couple of miles from the beach on Route 206 you will find phenomenal food! Fresh seafood and Italian fare prepared to perfection. Delicious sides and generous portions at reasonable prices. The cod with clams was so good we went back for a repeat! The seafood risotto was a huge portion of perfect risotto with muscles, clams, shrimp, calamari and lobster. Excellent, friendly staff and welcoming owners will make you feel at home. This is a must return treat. Our friends visiting the area agree, this is superb dining.

Going into this restaurant as as a biracial couple felt odd. It’s rare I feel out of place or that my family is a victim of racism. I am white and my husband is black, but I felt it here. I never jump to that conclusion without really knowing someone. Maybe I need to open my eyes more. The owner only glared at my little family. He went around and greeted every single table not once but several times. He didn’t even speak to us. The wait time was horrendous for food. This was not a place that was understaffed or busy when we were there either. We ended up taking our food to go, because the wait was becoming ridiculous. Two of the three meals weren’t even edible. My son’s chicken tenders and fries were burnet to a crisp. The oil they used was very old by weeks most likely. When opening the box you could smell the horrible older that using super old oil creates. When I opened that box my son gagged from the smell. I mistakenly tried one and threw up from the taste. My husband’s food was just as bad. My carbonara wasn’t as bad and was decent. My husband did take my son’s order back. The owner refused to talk to him to even see what the problem was. The waitress was actually nice and refunded him out of her own pocket. My husband took the money but didnt realize what she’d done until after he’d left. He wasn’t really thinking, or he’d never took her money. He was angry at our treatment but never even let it show on his face. I’m just shocked at the so many good reviews. They just can’t be real. Food was bad and atmosphere wasn’t much better. If you’re looking for good food this isn’t the place regardless of anything else. I wish I’d got a picture of the other rotten meal.

Bistro 206 is a little gem of a restaurant near Crescent Beach. The place is quaint and friendly.ntje owners Dave and Janet greet you and you feel like family immediately. The food is fresh and delicious. I started with the caprese salad, which was scrumptious. A Cesar salad was so good that next time I will order a large. My meatballs and ricotta appetizer was a perfect meal. The meatballs are huge, yet super moist and not dense. The ricotta on the side paired well. Bistro 206 is now my go to place for a great meal with friends.

I’m not one to write bad reviews. However when you find mold on the tiramisu you ordered to go and fingerprints in the key lime pie, seems reasonable to leave one.

Outstanding! Can’t say enough great things about this little Bistro 206. My husband and I have been to this restaurant 3x so far. I can honestly say it’s our new favorite place to dine. Each visit has exceeded our expectations. Owners, David and Janet are wonderful people who have greeted us every time. We were surprised that after only visiting a few times; Alice and Sarah have come to recognized us, even remembering our names, gave terrific service, as they are both very friendly and attentive! Service was Excellent only to be out done by their Amazing food. Last night I tried one of their nightly specials- Stuffed Flounder in a Scampy sauce served with sides of aspargus, mashed potatoes and a side salad. In my case I had substituted double asparagus in place of the mashed potatoes (photo). It was absolutely delicious! No photos of the Chicken Parmigiano my husband ordered as he quickly devoured it…very little left to show. Pricing is very fair for the healthy portion sizes they serve. Although this gem of a restaurant is located slightly off the beaten path from I-95, A1A and US1…Bistro 206 is definitely worth seeking out.
