Friendly and helpful staff. Nice atmosphere. The food was good, not great, but of course I only tried one item on it, the burnt ends. They were ok, nothing like the best you’ll find in KC, they were pretty small chunks and well sauced for those who like their BBQ sauce. There’s a bar there, if you go, just be nicer to the wait staff and bartender than the group of guys who were total a$$es to them when I was there. Despite them, the staff still was great.

Was traveling from California to eastern Kansas and decided to stop here for dinner. It was my wife, son, cousin, brother and I. Was a little hesitant at first since there wasn’t a lot of people. Went it and a very nice looking restaurant. Very well kept and friendly service. Had the rib eye steak-$30, a bit on the high side-well worth it. Feed me and my wife. Extremely tender and very well seasoned. Didn’t even require a steak sauce since it tasted so great. The desserts where also very good. The staff was very attentive and prompt. Would recommend as a higher end restaurant.

I have eaten at Bisteca 3 or 4 times now when I come to town, and haven’t been disappointed yet! Their Calamari Fries (think Cheese stick with Calamari instead of cheese), Sweet Potato fries and Blackened Chicken Alfredo are all excellent. I had their steak once and it wasn’t quite as good as their pasta. Their burgers are also delicious. Highly recommend if you’re willing to spend a few extra dollars per meal than other similar restraints in town.

The steak and twice baked potatoes were very good. But our margarita was made with orange juice so it was essentially a screwdriver with salt and lime, we had 2 flies buzzing around us constantly and our silver ware were wrapped in rags. Our waitress was very sweet but new. I was very disappointed I prefer pub on the bricks.

Just a warning, this is a bar not a restaurant. As far as price, I spent $72.00 for two people with no alcohol, just food and waters. I have been here a few times in the past years, and forgot why I have not returned. The reason is because this is a bar and not a restaurant. I have nothing against putting a bar and a restaurant, but I would recommend putting up a wall and dividing the two. I took my wife here on a date night, and we could not hear each other sitting across a table from each other. I would not recommend unless you are looking for a bar without a pool table.

First time in Liberal Ks, and was told Bisteca was the best steakhouse here. Wife and daughter had the steak, son had chicken fry and I had the blackened salmon. Everything was superb ! Would recommend this eatery to anyone!

What an awesome gem in Liberal, KS! The staff is super friendly and the owners take pride in their food and establishment. The steaks are hand-cut and the french fries and chips are made in house – what a perfect combo! I could seriously eat here everyday and no joke I overheard some people do. Their lunch specials are the best value in town – quality fresh made food at prices better than fast food. The cheesesteak, O.M.G!

Bisteca is hands down the best restaurant in Liberal. And easily in my top favorite restaurants I’ve been to. I travel all around the country for work, it’s hard to find a place with great food, great staff, and a great atmosphere. I will be coming here every time I come back to the Liberal area!
