Breakfast burritos were very good. We customized and waited for freshly cooked burritos.
There were also some labeled premade burritos to choose from.
The customer service was fantastic.
I am glad another review stated it was inside the liquor store or else we would not have know where to go.

As with most any place in New Mexico they did not open at the posted hour. But the great priced breakfast burrito was huge and good … if just a bit dry. Menu sign says that all breakfast burritos come with potatoes and egg … just add whatever we wanted added. I asked for a sausage burrito and the surly mumbling cook said “what else?” This first time customer was treated like crap … I will not be going back.

Our burritos were so good!! The lady, who seemed to be the owner, was extremely nice. All burritos were pre made because they were short staffed but when she saw my kiddo she had the cook make him any burrito he wanted. We drive through Raton a lot and we are so glad to have found a good spot to stop when passing through.

Juniors burrito grill has been around for many many years. They always have consistent quality and the salsa you get with your burrito is awesome! There is no inside dining but, the burritos are still tasty!

This place can come across as sketchy. It’s located inside of a liquor store after all. That being said, if you want a fantastic burrito, made extraordinarily quick, this is place. This is not a sit down restaurant, there are no chairs, though there is a restroom. The selection is fantastic. Everytime I pass through Raton I make it a point to stop and grab a burrito.
At the time of this writing, a burrito is $5.49 before taxes and is on the larger size for burritos. It’s a great deal and surely won’t disappoint.

So we used to stop here on drives down to my parents house, because food options are limited in Raton. And we were tired of fast food.
Our last stop will be the last stop ever.
We went in the middle of the day, around 1pm. The entire thing was shut down and they were cleaning.
“We’re all out right now.” Even though they claim to be open all day until 9pm. No explanation. No regrets.
They’re probably about to go out of business.

The restaurant is inside a liquor store. Food was hot and well prepared. Good size burrito for the price. The steak burrito seemed to be made with Steakums. That frozen meat you get at Sam’s club. There was a drive through ordering screen, but it didn’t work.

At first I was skeptical of a breakfast spot in a liquor store but the breakfast burrito was awesome. Some are made ahead and you can just grab and go or the sweet lady behind the counter will cook one up fresh for you. Mine had green chilis, eggs, cheese and sausage with fresh salsa on the side. Highly recommend this place for breakfast. Forget fast food joints, come here.
