Lighting was a bit too dark, but otherwise everything else was amazing. Our server was patient and knowledgeable, including on wines. Everything we ordered was delicious, at least 4/5 stars. Onion tart was 5/5. Baguette with duck liver mousse and stone fruit puree was rich and light at the same time. Escargot was like a mini soup with rich flavor that we dipped the baguette in. Such unique flavors and an overall memorable experience for our anniversary dinner. Parking across the street in the yellow curb zone after 6pm.

So good! We ordered the duck leg confit and the pork from the menu of the day. Easily some of the best pork and duck we’ve eaten. We also got the baguette with the Normandy butter. 10/10 recommend!

Bottom line – this is a destination restaurant. The restaurant itself is on the bottom floor of a Michelin Starred restaurant, and is operated by the same owners and chef. The food here is simply amazing, and you would be very hard pressed to find a better restaurant. The food is a French fusion, with fun, chef’s favorites in a casual atmosphere. Honestly, I would not hesitate to drive a few hours just to eat here. The staff is friendly and professional. We were lucky and were able to sit near the kitchen, and were blessed to be able to watch the delicacies prepared and rolled out to the tables. I will come back, as often as my budget will allow.

An absolute gem of a restaurant! On a Friday night at 6 pm, it was lively and buzzing. Even though the restaurant was fully sat, the server and sommelier were super attentive and happy to take time making recommendations and exchange banter. All the dishes were flavourful and on point. Especially enjoyed the merguez sausage, it was a sizeable portion with many interesting components. The bouillabaisse was rich, with plentiful, and very satisfying on a cold night. The perfect combination of amazing service, great ambiance, and delicious food. A win on all fronts. Kudos to Chef Walter and his talented team.

Dined here the night when Tropical Storm Hilary blew into town. Despite that, this restaurant didn’t miss a beat! Amazing food, impressive wine list, great service. We put ourselves in the hands of the somm Dimitri and he gave us a wonderful wine experience. And our server Eric was a pleasure as well, advising us on what to order and making sure everything was coursed out just so. The whole experience was the highlight of our trip to LA. Can’t wait to go back! Thank you for a wonderful evening!!!

Not sure why this place doesn’t have an overall higher rating. Can’t go wrong with Kumamoto oysters but that’s a given.

Great ambient French bistro vibe in BH adjacent. Great friendly service. Cocktails are amazing. Baguette and butter to start is a must. Escargot is not for everyone but I think their version is nicely balanced not too buttery and with nice puffy pastry. We had the duck confit and short ribs. Both are nicely prepared, a bit on the salty side for my personal preference but very well done. Would love to try the upstairs fine dining one day!

Everything. Just everything was perfect. I was having a serious conversation with my date, but every time a dish came out and we ate it, we were so elated and would go on a tangent on how good the food was. I mean, even just the baguette, that was the best bread I’ve had since Paris. The $75 pre fixe on Sundays is so worth it. Service is impeccable. Enoch, the wine guy, is the man. Ambience is just right with a cozy + elevated feel. Def coming back here for my next special occasion!
