Post dinner rush. Service was friendly and the waitress made specific recommendations for tye the Kansa Roll sushi, which was honestly one of the better sushis I’ve ever had. Also ordered jalapeno chicken which was cooked perfectly and the sauce it was covered in had this sweet/spicy… Mostly spicy but definitely delicious flavor. I’ll be back often. One of MHKs best finds! Great prices too.

My wife and I came here for lunch. Loved the rolls we got. The roll on the left is the Captain Crunch Roll and the right is the Kansas Roll. The captain crunch is what me and my wife try to find at any sushi place we go to, and it was great. The Kansas roll had a lot going on, which I normally like. I think it was too flavorful by the time I got to the last bite, but still a good roll.

I hate to be the person leaving a bad review, I really do. I came here twice in hopes that I could give them the benefit of the doubt. Off the bat the menu itself is not what I would hope or expect from a Japanese/Korean restaurant, it would almost be more accurate to just call it Chinese/Sushi restaurant. The food itself was severely disappointing both times. I got Orange chicken my first time, and it was lower quality than something I could buy frozen at Walmart in every aspect. My second time I ordered their sushi. First of all, their rice does not seem to be seasoned. Their ginger is fake and nearly flavorless, even the wasabi does not have much heat to it. The quality of the fish was the most disappointing aspect. This place has the sushi quality of a low-rate China buffet but they have the audacity to charge the same as any other sushi restaurant. I hope this review saves at least one person from the regret you will feel after buying anything here.

Sushi was disgusting, I took two bites and couldn’t finish it. Rice was mushy, tempura was wet and mushy, not crispy and dry, crab was very off-putting and didn’t taste fresh at all. Didn’t come with enough wasabi or ginger. The spicy mayo looks like orange water, doesn’t have the consistency of actual spicy mayo and the eel sauce was mixed in with the crab for some reason when it says it’son top. Just didn’t taste good at all. I typically eat at Green Tea Sushi, but this is the only restaurant that is delivering Sushi right now during this Pandemic. It’s not worth it, I’d rather make my own or get Hyvee sushi. DO NOT ORDER THE SUSHI.

Every bite of white rice was crunchy. Also, got kalbi to go and it look like a snack. Definitely not worth the price. Will attempt to go back, hope things get better!
