A hidden little Sushi spot, Buddha’s Favorite is located on the Bayfront of the Lido Peninsula. We offer unique rolls and sushi with the freshest fish possible! Vegetarian and non-fish eaters options too! RESERVATIONS ARE HIGHLY RECOMMENDED To Our Valued Customers, Buddha’s Favorite offers patio, inside and sushi bar dining. Reservations are primarily required! We offer Dock and Dine and Boat parking also but by reservation only. Please use Yelp Reservations or call us at 949-723-4203. We do our best to seat you at the time of your reservation but there still may be a wait after your reservation time. We are asking to please limit your dining time to a maximum of 2 hours. We offer limited to-go’s. Please call between 3:30pm-5pm on Monday

I’m from Colorado and every time im in the area I make sure to stop here for lunch or dinner. Reservations are a must (imho) and the food is always fresh and delicious. The staff are incredibly attentive and always check in with you. Also a great place to watch the ships go by.

The sushi was excellent! We had one called a “Lollipop” which was very unique from their no-rice category. Each piece of the cut sushi roll had a stick like a lollipop and it was a bunch of kinds of fish and crab wrapped up in a cucumber outer layer with a wasabi drizzle. It was amazing and I’ve never had anything like it before!! I would definitely come back here many times!! We had a reservation and it seems like that would be a good recommendation to get one. The restaurant was very busy. One fun aspect of this restaurant is that it is right on the water in the marina. We got to watch the boats come and go as we enjoyed an incredible meal!

A place recommended to us, and the execution was wonderful. The wasabi was creamy, ginger was fresh and crisp, the rolls are mostly enclosed in rice paper instead of seaweed (I don’t mind seaweed, it’s an acquired taste I have come to expect and enjoy, but this was different and better), and every roll had an umani quality where it just melted in your mouth. We all (3) loved this place, ordered 6 rolls and crushed 6 rolls – 48 pieces, ginger salad, and desserts, plus a special unlisted roll at the end of the night to-go. Atmosphere and service were excellent.

We had an amazing night celebrating our 1st wedding anniversary at Buddha’s Favorite. We got to try a little bit of everything by ordering a special they have ($45 for 2), including spicy crunchy rice, salmon candy, garlic edamame, 1/2 roll of Jamie’s Screaming, 1/2 roll of Beagle Roll, and 2 Big MF hand rolls. We also ordered gyoza, 1/2 Yoshi’s spring roll, and a Mochi Sampler for dessert.
