This was disappointing. We came for drinks and appetizers. It’s pretty much all fried. And not good. For drinks we order a margarita and bubbly wine. Well, you can see in the pica what we got. Like why don’t you have the right glass???

The staff here are great but the food needs seasoning. The prices are also great so you can try a few things. My favorite thing was the spam musubi because of the sauce. Now I understand why the place was completely empty, needs flavor. I almost chocked to death when garnish metal ball fell in my drink from the toothpick. Thank heavens I caught it!

We came for lunch and were the only ones in the restaurant. We ordered spam and veggie bulgogi bowl. Spam was delicious but the bowl was basically majority rice and just a few veggies. Definitely not the best and was just okay.

We heard the hype about this place and were excited to give it a try on a Saturday night. Our group of 6 was seated at a wobbly and unstable table which we didn’t realize was a lazy Susan until we were leaving!

Marshawn is doing a spectacular job here in the Bay area with his “BEASTRO”. It’s menu is truly one of a kind within the city of Portland. There’s a distinctive taste to everything so you won’t be disappointed if you’re looking for lots of flavor. The atmosphere can be a little rowdy depending on the weekend if a lot of children are staying in the hotel. But overall the bar area is very quiet and can be a intimate setting if the timing is right. The staff at this location is limited but they’re doing the best with the small amount of people that come to work everyday and do a great job. If you have any problem with your meal they will go out of the way to make the correction and fix it for you. I look forward to seeing many more “BEASTRO’s”, hopefully outside of Portland.

We waited an hour (12:15 order until 1:15) for our meal to come out when the restaurant was almost entirely empty, and when it came out we were stunned to see a “breakfast of champions” that looked straight out of Denny’s or McDonald’s, and a $17 ramen that clearly was a dressed up instant ramen creation more appropriate for a desperate 1am self prepared meal. Garbage food after sitting for one hour. In that hour we never received water (I asked twice) and at the end they messed up the order too. For all this they discounted us 10% and referred over and over to a backup of 12 orders right before we arrived which obviously did nothing to help the five of us. Waitress was friendly but did absolutely nothing to remedy the numerous problems, and couldn’t figure out how to split the bill at the end (and they are cashless). Needs congratulations because I don’t know if I’ve had more things go wrong or a worse dining experience in my adult life!

It was such an enjoyable meals! That hot pot ramen soup was very good!! So tasty!! I really love tempura too! Our server was so friendly and wonderful!! We will come back for more!! Great service and very good atmosphere!
