Beans & Brews Coffee House has been around since 1993, when the Laramie family opened shop next to Salt Lake City’s beloved hangout, Liberty Park. The family refined the process of high-altitude roasting, which results in uniquely smooth coffee with intense flavor. Beans & Brews—or “Beans,” as friends call us for short—is now a staple around Utah and its friends, Idaho and Nevada. Our guests are our reason for getting up in the morning. We love greeting regulars with their favorite drinks, made just the way they like ‘em. And we dig getting to know newcomers from all over the world and welcoming them to the Beans community. This place can never hear my order when I am at the drive thru. I speak loud so they can try but every time they repeat my order back it is wrong. Their breakfast sandwiches are the biggest waste of money. It is almost all bagel and the tiniest piece of egg & cheese inside. I am done trying to give this place a chance. I am angry I spent $15 on a drink and this PATHETIC “attempt” at their sandwich. My sandwich was burnt, the bagel was completely dry, hard as a rock, stale and there was barely any egg on it. I couldn’t eat it because it was the worst thing I’ve ever ordered. Please don’t waste your money going here. The staff is great but their product is TERRIBLE!!!

Found pieces of glass/plastic like material in the caramel Frappuccino. Called twice, no response. They had no line when I was there so I doubt they didn’t have time to answer the phone. Took 5-10 minutes for two drinks and we were the only ones in the drive through. I always go to this location and it never takes them this long. My husband was drinking out of his drink and would spit out that glass. They were in tiny pieces.

I was driving through and stopped for a coffee. Looked enticing from the outside. A huge turn-off was there are no prices listed for the food and drink. Obviously they are hiding their high prices. Had to ask for each items price. Ridiculous!!! Ended up with a coffee, which was the French roast. That was pretty good. Also ordered the pesto turkey panini grilled for 8$. Was expecting a substantial sandwich but was very disappointed. Turned out to be a simple white bread with a slice of cheese and a couple pieces of turkey with a dollop of pesto. That should have been a $3 sandwich. Not coming back.

I got a triple shot of espresso for $3 dollars which is marked up 600%, then the nice person in the drive thru showed me a screen that wanted me to tip $1 so 33% more of the cost of the expresso shot, the screen actually had Four options for tipping, $1- $3- $5- $10, nowhere on the screen was there an option not to tip, shame on management for being greedy, at least give us the option to tip a proper percentage or an option not to tip something your already making a killing on.

Made my food wrong several time when I simply ask for no cheese on my sandwichs. When we ask for no cheese on both sandwiches and both had cheese. The gal at the window said oh we didn’t know. How i ordered it that way. After pulling up to the window I was then asked for ID since my order was over $30 unless I was going to pay cash. Why in HELL do I need to provide my ID when ordering food.

Coffee drinks are great and what you would expectfrom this chain. This is mostly a drive through location with a walk up window. Very busy, so expect to wait, even at the walk up, and even if you order ahead of time on your app. Those poor employees were running around each other in such a small space trying to keep up!

One of the worst locations because it’s such a small and busy area. But beans and brews is our favorite coffee shop! 10/10 would recommend. They have something for everyone, just talk to the staff! We go on a nearly daily basis. Way better than Starbucks. But one complaint is they get my coffee wrong quite a bit and have to repeat my order at the window or have them remake it. They forget our extra shots a lot and it’s very noticeable in color and flavor. It costs too much to be leaving that out!
