Pretty rude customer service upon arrival. The gentleman who oversaw the guest in the eating area was phenomenal.. best non waiter service ive ever encountered. He is a taller black gentleman and his customer service skills are top notch.. the cafeteria style workers serving food could definitely learn from that man.

It’s a shame how far down this place has fallen! BBQ west used to be THE BBQ place in North Louisiana period!! Now it is the last place I would ever eat. They stopped making the Signature baked beans that put them on the map, the service is shameful and unlike the rest of the world they still think we can’t serve ourself at the buffet…… Seriously the saddest thing is the meats, I used to get all you can eat and hurt myself because I couldn’t stop eating! Now I am doing good to finish the substandard stuff they put on the plate. I wish they would wake up because their original recipe is amazing.

Everything was horrible. The chicken, ribs, and beans tasted like nothing but lighter fluid. I could probably burp right now and ignite a flame. Even the pickle slice was nasty. I definitely don’t recommend this place at all. I don’t even see how they stay open.

Dont let the strip mall scare you away. Cause inside is good old school barbecue. Real convenient to I-20. The food was outstanding. Ribs, brisket and the sides are awesome. Cabbage and all the typical bbq sides but the baked beans are excellent. The bbq sauce is even good. These places are harder and harder to find these days. Glad I found this one. Great staff and clean bathrooms with paper towels! The tea is good to and made properly for a change. Do yourself a favor and check this place out. I doubt you’ll regret it. It’s a local spot but really easy to from the interstate. Thanks BBQ West! You made my Saturday!

Worst chicken ever! Very dry, and tasted old. I couldn’t/wouldnt eat it. 13 bucks plus a 10% tip wasted. Won’t go back.

The food was good even though the po-boy bread wasn’t my favorite. The gravy and French fries were hot and fresh. The three-meat plate had nice serving sizes and the beans were delicious.
