If you’ve never had alligator tail then you should try it here. The peanut sauce adds a good twist to it. We also ordered the gumbo for starters which was pretty good although they could cut back on the celery and onions. Then we shared the 9 oysters, 9 shrimp and 5 scallops which was also tasty!

This plave is pretty good. We tried the cheese sticks and stuffed jalapenos for appetizers. The cheesesticks were decent. The peppers were good. The fried fish was good too. It was nothing spectacular but I would definitely eat it again if I was in the area. My 4 year old son didnt like it but he’s finicky.

Fried pickles and boudin balls were amazing. Grilled veggies were good. Steak was alright. It came out overcooked. Ill just remember to order it rarer next time. Ill deffinately go back!

The new owner was so friendly. After spending a long day on the beach, my kids were tired and hungry and grumpy. He was so kind to them and played with them. The waitress was amazing and attentive and the sweet tea was excellent!! One tip though, the tap water is awful. Don’t drink it. We ordered some alligator, shrimp, and oysters, all fried. Everything was great and 100% homemade. I have never had such good oysters or coleslaw in my life and that’s saying something. If you’re ever in the area, I urge you to give them a try. You can NOT go wrong!! …except on Tuesdays when they’re closed.

Went in for a quick bite before getting back to fishing. Husband had the grilled catfish and gumbo, I had the stuffed shrimp. Everything was really good, lots of flavor, and the service was great. Definitely coming back!

Hate to do this, but it used to be good, but our last two visits we waited a long long time for our food and it wasn’t very good. We waited about 20 minutes for our salads, and probably another 20 -30 minutes for our food. My husband waited another 15 or more minutes for his. We were all done by the time he got hish We had seafood and it wasn’t bad, but it was far from good. The best part of my meal was the coleslaw and the french fries not any of the seafood. One Oyster was just gross.

Excellent Seafood dishes from Stuffed Flounder, Fried Shrimp To Gumbo and Fried Rice! You can’t go bad ordering anything on the menu. The Red Beans and Rice are killer! And the owner, Eddie, is warm and friendly. A great little plane for parties and platters! They can cater your party too!!

Was very surprised on the food, we almost didn’t stop due to how the restaurant looked but I wanted fresh seafood and this place had it. The shrimp and scallops were so huge and delicious! Grab cakes and catfish was good also. They were all out of alligator but was full of fresh seafood!

A+ safood in a very small town. I was pretty disappointed with lunch in Corpus Christi at a famous place, and was delighted that Bayside stepped up to the plate, and knocked it out of the park. It was quiet, probably because it was 48 degrees F out, but the service was prompt and the food was excellent. I had Stuffed flounder and shrimp, which was absolutely delicious. I’ll definitely be back when I’m in the area, and am so glad I stopped here to eat.
