Off the beaten path is this great little Cafe that we found by shear luck. The food was delicious and seasoned just right. The service was very friendly and quick. Country cooking with a hometown feel. I had meatloaf and mashed potatoes with fried okra. Finishing up with Apple pie

We had fun. Had a lot of history photos. You could imagine all of the soldiers sitting around a campfire eating some kind goulash back in the day.

We love to stop and eat at unique places while traveling. WOW we were surprised by this jewel named, Battle Branch Cafe. The service was Excellent and the Food was OUTSTANDING!! To top it off with their homemade desserts, I had Coconut Cake, just like my Grandma made!! Do yourself a favor and stop in for a REAL NICE MEAL WITH NICE STAFF!

It’s in the middle of nowhere but great food and service for a really good price. Better food at cheaper prices than going to some overpriced chain. The Buffalo chicken wrap is great and the onion rings are amazing. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE YOU WONT BE DISAPPOINTED

We happened upon Battle Branch on one of our many excursions. This restaurant is definitely off the beaten path on a rather empty road! We enjoyed the restaurant’s theme and decor, and they had some good specials up on the day we went! There were only a handful of people there, so the service was very attentive and fast. The food, however, was nothing to shout about. Several items we decided to try tasted frozen, and the barbecue sandwich was too soggy to enjoy on a bun. Simply put, it was mediocre at best, but seems to be a favorite spot for the locals!

Me and my family have been to this restaurant several times. We happened upon it while going to visit a place I had seen on North Carolina Weekend. Coming back we came down the road that runs next to the restaurant. We were surprised to see a restaurant out in such a remote location. Since we were all hungry we stopped. What a wonderful surprise. I have read the couple of negative reviews and it is true that there are some people you can never please. We live an hour and 20 minutes away and we choose to drive to this restaurant. Don’t go there if you don’t like excellent home cooking or homemade desserts. We love this place. The waitress and owner and very nice.

Food is delicious and prices are incredible! The presentation is a little lacking, but it’s a nice, homey, cozy place, not a fancy restaurant It truly feels like you’re eating at grandma’s kitchen table. The biscuits are amazingly lighter and flaky.

I decided to give this place another try. Never again! Unfriendly server. Had to ask twice for things. Not impressed with servers that ignore customers. Cheeseburger was inedible. No refill on water. Server never checked on us. Register person didn’t bother to ask how our meal was. Done with this place!
