Nice place to hangout with friends. I like the decorations and vibe of this place. They are open till midnight. The kitchen closes very early though. Their bar entrance is small and can be easily missed if not paid attention.

A cool bar in the heart of downtown Georgetown. There is plenty of parking on the road and around the area.The side entrance to the bar is unassuming – blink and you’ll miss it . Once inside you will be greeted with a warm glow. They have an impressive long bar with and array of tap beer. The furniture is reminiscent of old bars with a lot of memorabilia on the walls. They also have an old Ford on top of the ceiling. The wine list is very limited (beer rules here!) but for non beer drinkers, they offer cider. This is definitely a bar to revisit again and again. We didn’t eat so I can’t say anything about the food but it was well presented when the waiters walked past us.

Stopped by for a quick meal while in town. Great service and great beer. The atmosphere was good, they have lots of events. The deviled eggs are an acquired taste so watch out. The Chicken Sandwich was good but the breast was lacking in volume. I would come back and recommend.

Don’t even go for lunch. Went a few months ago and staff brought in food from another place and were eating at a back table ignoring patrons. Today, one person working the bar. Sat down with a friend and got menus and asked for water, 10 mites later, nothing. We left and had a great lunch down the street. So done with place. It used to be great

JG the Manager was AWESOME!!! My girlfriend and I were on a time crunch for a show at the Palace theater, and he served us himself! He literally jumped through a booth to rush our order through. Drinks were spot on, food was perfect! Never received service like that at B&A before!! Definitely an asset to the restaurant!!! Cheers!!!

My husband and I went to see the dueling pianos at the Barrels and Amps. We didn’t order food, but the drinks were fantastic and the musical talents of the piano players were outstanding!!! A variety of music delivered in an upbeat vibe! Fantastic way to spend an evening!

July22- went to the sing-along piano show. It happens the last Saturday of each month. Tickets were $10 online $15 at the door. Purchased online when we got to the door had a list of who had bought online super easy. Show is great, piano player and the drummer played and sang for 3 hours straight. You recommend songs on a piece of paper attach a tip and put it in his pile. Played everything from the 60s to current. It was amazing he knew all the words. He would adjust the amount he would have the crowd sing just right based on how well the crowd knew the music. Crowd was mainly middle-aged. Played all different kinds of music from country to rap, it worked really well. There is also dueling pianos every Friday, plan to see that too. Sliders were still really good.

Went during the day while there was no band. We tried 3 locked doors before finding the restaurant entrance on the side. The food was good and the blue cheese and bacon jam burger was flavorful. I thought the beers were a little pricey for the kind of establishment it is, but it is on the square so I guess location is how that’s justified.

I really enjoy this place and the variety of events that they hold throughout the week is fun particularly on the Georgetown square. The only downside to this place is there is no dance floor. They try to maximize the people in to the place which I understand that’s how they make their money but there is not a place to dance on the Georgetown square. We need a dance hall a fairly good sized dance hall on the Georgetown square.
