Great breakfast with CRISPY BACON! Not everyone gets that right, but this was perfect!

My friend and I went there today for the first time and we are so glad we did! We got the breakfast tacos and tater waffles and eggs. Everything was so fresh tasting and beautifully presented. Fresh salsa, fresh avocado and a variety of hot sauces to choose from. My friend is gluten free and they had many choices for her to choose from including non-dairy creamer for coffee. The staff was super smiley and helpful. The space was charming- in a renovated home with all wood floors and wood molding. Nice and warm vibe inside. Be sure to use the restroom near the bar and check out the “wallpaper”- soo cool!

We were excited to try this place out because we’ve enjoyed their baked goods at the bookstore, however it just wasn’t good.

Barn Door Breakfast is open on Main Street, Damariscotta! We enjoyed bottomless coffee, blueberry pancakes, and the tot waffle! Everything was delicious and the restaurant looks cozy and refreshed. We also tried the Mr. French’s Toast and can’t get it off of our minds; it’s almost custard-like French toast that melts in your mouth. Highly recommend.

Definitely worth 5 stars, I would give more if I could! First of all the staff was amazing, so friendly and welcoming. The place is clean and bright. And I had the best pancakes Of my life. Will come again at my next visit in town!

Beautiful space, lovely people waiting on us. It took forever for the food to come. The food was good.

Fantastic!! The food was divine (they have a great lunch menu in addition to the breakfast menu), service was great, and the location is perfect. Now one of my absolute favorite restaurants.

Cute little diner. We split the tater toast and some sautéed greens. The cold brew was really good.

There is no place in Damarascotta to get a breakfast beyond a breakfast sando… so you want this place to succeed.

Disappointed! Decaf coffee was not worthy of a second cup. Hollandaise sauce had too much lemon; English muffin was hard as a rock and barely toasted; ham was very thin and sparingly cut, poached egg was over cooked.
