Great BBQ, but the dining area is quite small. The salad bar is a standout with plenty of tasty options (the potato salad is awesome). The brisket is very tender and full of flavor. The service was very good, and the atmosphere is pleasant despite being on the casual side. They have other options including steak and pizza, but I come for the BBQ and salad bar. Prices aren’t cheap but well in line with similar places. Definitely a favorite!

I stopped because I saw the BBQ sign. I was on a layover. The salad bar was ok. The ribs sucked at best very dry. They looked like they had been sitting for a couple of days. Service was slow and in my opinion they need to clean. I was worried about getting sick after eating . The beer was cold. I will never visit again. Way over priced for the meal in my opinion. I was waiting for Chief Ramsay to come in and tear the place apart.

I ordered the brisket sandwich, collard greens and Fries. Everything was delicious! I came in from TN. and saw Bare Bones from the hotel. Glad I gave them a try! They definitely compare to some Memphis BBQ. The brisket was tender, smokey and perfect with the BBQ sauce. The greens weren’t to vinegary and were well seasoned. Not expensive either for the quality. The meal & a drink was $16. ♥️

I was just there a couple of days ago and it was great. They were busy but I didn’t have to wait. The food was so good. The pork and brisket combination plate was very good with the meat cooked just right. I say that because I learned real BBQ in the South. Bare Bones BBQ does it like they do in the South – they let the meat speak for itself and don’t put BBQ sauce on it. The sauce is on the side and it’s also good.

We are from Ohio and this restaurant is near our hotel and I am so happy we decided to try it! This place served the best bbq I’ve ever had . We had the brisket and the half chicken, and everything was delicious! The cornbread was amazing as well. Overall, large portions and great service. It cost us about $40ish for two adults including tip, and we have leftovers!

Located close to Quad Cities International Airport, the place is a hidden gem! From the outside it looks like a diner from the 60s. Inside they serve the best steaks in town. Tender, perfectly cooked and seasoned, with amazing side dishes. Also known for seafood and wood-fired pizza. This is THE place for good food and friendly service.

Absolutely delicious! Most definitely a surprise given the location. A little unique twist to the common dishes and substantially tasty.

Great place to grab a bite. Down home food, nothing fancy on the inside. Had the 3rd rack dinner bakes potatoe and salad bar. The salad bar has a nice selection. By the time our food came I was full from the salad bar and cornbread. Left overs were enough for dinner the next night. I like that the sauce is served on the side. Meat was nicely smoked and tender. Service is friendly but a little on the slow side. I’ll definately return. I’d say for under $20 it’s a good value.

The pulled pork, brisket, & bbq sauce were all excellent, although my brisket did have some fat on it (neither of the other dinners though). The salad bar had a nice variety. The fried mushrooms are made from scratch & were also very good.
