I have a gluten intolerance and can’t currently have dairy. Menu items were clearly labeled and the staff was knowledgeable. The owner herself was there and was very friendly and made sure gluten free items were handled properly. It’s hard to find gluten free Asian food. I tried the mango fresh spring roll with peanut sauce, a few different gf sushi rolls and had a basil grass fed beef Thai noodle dish. The food was amazing- It’s so nice to know there is a safe and delicious place to eat a huge variety of Asian cuisine. I often react to gluten in food when going out to eat- I felt great after eating there.

I happened upon Bambu on a whim when a restaurant I wanted to dine at was closed. And I gotta say that there was a silver lining to that situation as I really enjoyed eating at Bambu. We arrived at opening time, was immediately able to grab a seat and our server was with us immediately. He was very pleasant and had no issues sharing the entire menu with us and giving us recommendations. We chose seaweed salad, Thai basil noodles with shrimp, Wonton Egg noodle soup, and rounding it off with mango sticky rice. Food was quick to arrive, brought to us by Rosie the robot. Usually I am skeptical of how great you can be with a big menu serving pan Asian cuisine but what we got was really good. The Thai basil noodles were soft, flavorful, and delicious as was the wonton egg noodle soup. Both dishes had plenty of veggies, shrimp, and wontons. Both dishes were about what you would expect in size. I was very impressed with the broth of my soup, better than the majority of places I’ve tried. The dessert was wonderful, with that gooey sugary sweetness, served and made warm with the condensed milk and topped off with sweet mango. Overall a really positive experience. Pricing was as you would expect, easily a 40-60 meal between two people. Would definitely be willing to return!

We had a party of 8 who all had different dishes and everything was amazing!!! Our server, Kong, was very professional and courteous. The variety of dish regions, (Thai, Vietnamese, Chinese) is impressive! And they even have a robot waiter to deliver dishes to the table! So great!!

This place is an incredible hidden gem! I’ve ordered take out from them several times during lockdown but finally got a chance to dine in and it did not disappoint! We had the sweetest & friendliest waiter and everyone we interacted with made us feel welcomed.

When you are the only Caucasians in the place you know you have hit gold. Everything was delicious. We ordered the sampler platter, Coconut Curry with chicken, and jasmine tea. The wait staff was friendly, service was fast, and we will be eating leftovers for the rest of the week. We will be back!!

Maplewood location no longer exists. But I do love Bambu in general, love that the owner makes gluten free and preservative free cookies. I do like the atmosphere here, they have a fish tank and blue lighting around the bar. My hubby loved the beef and meatball pho, just as good as the other location used to be.

It took a little while for the server to take my order, but he was very friendly. They have a robot runner for the food from kitchen to table, which is fun. If you have kids, they will LOVE it! The menu is large and is a good mix of cuisines from China, Thailand and Japan…. including sushi.

We had so much fun eating at this restaurant. The food was very good but what really got our attention was the quality of the service provided to us. The server made us feel comfortable and welcome. They use a robot to serve the food which is very fun. I’d recommend it to everyone.

Very friendly & nice atmosphere! But I wasn’t too big of a fan of the food. Their crunchy rolls were great! But their Papaya salad was too sugary. The curry wasn’t horrible but it just reminded me of stir fry with curry soup. I posted my fav dish to least fav dish.
