Love going to A &W in the summer. Always a great treat. Unfortunately, our last trip was not excellent. Our server dropped the food off at the picnic table and we discovered there was only one chicken slider instead of 2 and there was no bacon on my BBQ Bacon burger. When I informed the girl, she said “ Does it come with bacon?” I pointed to the banner. She said “ Oh”. When I told her about the missing slider.. she questioned me again. She never offered to make it right. Instead she said “ Sorry, have a great day” and walked away. By this time, we were frustrated and just left … even though we were not happy and spent $26 plus a $5 tip. Not the experience we expected from our visit.

A large here is a normal small at any other restaurant. The float only had a table spoon of ice cream. The attendant Conor laughed the whole time during the order and was not respectful at all. The burger was awful with no flavor. Very unsatisfied!

TRIFLING!!! Never before have I experienced such a disgusting “coney sauce” that tasted like canned, off-brand tomato soup. The food was nasty! Saddest excuse for a “coney dog” or “coney cheese fries” (should have known with a weird name like “coney cheese fries” instead of “chili cheese fries”) that I have ever experienced. Never again!!!

Called and ordered ahead. Asked for a CHEESE coney dog with light onion, extra cheese. I got a coney dog with a SLICE of cheese underneath and bacon and ketchup (I’m sorry but… what were they thinking?). I had the guy who took my order repeat it back TWICE to ensure it was correct & it was both times. The “large” float was actually a medium, my float was actually just over half full, not completely full. I was in a rush & didn’t double check my bag and needed to get home before my sugar dropped, so that’s on me for not realizing till I got home. To say I’m not impressed is an understatement.

Still an old fashioned place! The rootbeer floats, home fries, and hot dogs were excellent. Each car has their own big orange button to press to order, and she brings it out to the car on a tray, just like the olden days. It is a really a fun place to visit with your date or family!

Not the same a&w as I remember when I was a kid working there. No more mugs very small to go cups and I mean very small to go cups fries still come in a bag. Very very small stringy fries. Fries were cold on top of that Pictures on menu show two pieces of cheese on sandwiches only received one piece. If I had known that I would have paid for the extra cheese. Very disappointed in this visit to a&w. Considering the high dollar price you would think that they would take better care of the guest. After all we are paying pretty close to $9 for a meal. For only one meal. Two meals came to $21 and some odd sense.
