Enter 45 minutes before close and was treated as a huge inconvenience. They didn’t even have a cash register put together for us to order. No frosted mug for the root beer. THEY PUT ICE IN MY ROOT BEER. They also brought my order to me in a to go bag after I specifically asked to dine in as they were open another 45 minutes. This is the second time I’ve had such an experience here. I’ve heard they’re under new ownership and I’ll never come back again. If you want to close at 8 that’s fine but if you’re open till 9 don’t make me feel like a bad guy for trying to come at 8:15. Very poor establishment.

The chicken strips were delicious and hot. I was more after the root beer and just taking in the cafe as our A&W closed decades ago in Mason City. It was a worthwhile drive.

When we find Stand Alone A&Ws, we stop. We could easily tell that this was the local hangout because the manager on duty was watching the locals pull in the lot and putting their favorites in. Our food was very good and the staff take pride in their restaurant.

Every single time I order there no matter how specific I am. They always give me either the wrong order or not all the food I pay enough money as it is for. And then I have some lady giving me attitude blaming it on me! I don’t recommend eating here…

A&Ws. It’s a fast food place. Fairly crowded at 6:30pm on a Tuesday evening. Service was quick though not terribly warm or smiley and I got my fast food.

Good service and like the calorie count on the menu board. Family friendly. However bathrooms are small and not wheelchair friendly. No place for diaper changes here. Busy on a Sunday night with plenty of service people who can handle it effectively. Drive through available.
