I was looking for a restaurant to accommodate a 50th birthday party with a large headcount on a Sat evening. Without hesitation, Bessie accepted my reservation and honored every request I made along the way. The service was amazing and the food was delicious. Will definitely be back for our large group needs as well as dinner in general. Thank you Austin’s staff for making my BF’s birthday a one to remember!!

Very bad service. I ordered chicken parmesan. I wanted Alfredo sauce over my noodles, they charged $2.69 for this which is not bad but they barely put any sauce on it then I wanted extra marinara sauce on the side, at first they charged $.69 then they came back and said it is pre portioned so it would be $2.69 again not outrageous but they gave me about 1/8 cup of sauce and not to mention I did not get any marinara sauce on my noodles so it should have been free. They seem to nice and dime you to death to make up for their lack of business. I am not going back.

More expensive than I would have expected. I could have made the dish I ordered in my own kitchen and it would have been less expensive and tasted better. The service was a little slack… We had a group, so there was an automatic tip. Plus… They were out of Budweiser, our friend’s favorite (he was not happy). We even had to chase down 2 different people to get our checks. It wasn’t that bad, but we won’t be back.

Food was okay, but one of the guests that were with me ordered a steak that was way over cooked. When she asked to have it returned and cooked again, the waitress stated that this was not possible, and that the menu states a clause that says ‘not responsible for the under or over cooking of steaks’. This should have been rectified being that the steak was burnt!! We then proceeded to ask for the manager, but the manager refused to come out and address the situation, and only allowing the waitress to handle it. We asked for the manager a second time, and was told again that the manager would not address us. We had a party of 13, and spent almost $300 and more in food and drinks with a restaurant that was pretty much empty. For a manager to not address your patrons, is not good customer service or business! Our party has selected Austin’s as our restaurant of choice several times, and have spent good money and tipped well every time. Today was very disappointing, and we will not be returning!!

I planned a party of approximately 50 people. Talked with the restaurant a few times leading up to my event. They were very accommodating and friendly. We arrived at the appointed time. The tables were nicely areanged as I requested. We were greeted very nicely. And the 3 wait staff were very nice. Several of my party ordered appetizers and received them. We placed our entree orders. Some of the entrees took 1 1/2 – 2 hours to receive. I am aware that we were a large party, however, that was the purpose of pre-planning and talking with management. They could have been better prepared so that it would not have taken so long to receive our meals. When we got our food, it was very good. There was just the matter of “the long wait”.

The food was good. Our waitress was great. We had a big group, so it took a while to get the food out. The bathrooms, both male and female, were awful. The soap dispenser in the female bathroom fell off the wall when trying to use it, and instead of a door latch for the stall, there was rolled up toilet paper in the hole. There was no toilet paper except in the door. The male bathroom was equally as bad with a sticky floor everywhere and no toilet paper. The food was good, though.

We had our company Christmas party here and had a great time, good food, laughs and prizes.. It was 100% better than the one place we went last year.. I personally hope we go here for next year’s party.. Thank you for the good time from one of the Simpson Strong-Tie guests at the party.. Keep up the good work (especially the food)
