Very chilled place for South Indian grub. We stopped by as we were passing through. Enjoyed some hot sambhar and vada. It was surprising to see a Mexican family serving. When we chatted with them, the lady told us that she has been cooking Indian food for over 25 years!! I was so impressed. The place is owned by the same Indian guy who owns several other restaurants in the area like Bombay dhaba etc. overall a good experience. Just caution that the sambar was way too spicy and hot for me, so just watch out for that!

This truck is now called Reddy Dhaba and it is the only food truck that is active in that parking lot. The owner owns Austin Dosa in that parking lot but that truck is not active. Looks like he combined the menu of all the food trucks into one and operating from this truck.

Their Tea is so good and full 16oz. Ask for low spice if you are not used to Andhra level spice. Portion size is also pretty big. Would definitely recommend. Plesant service. If you plan to eat with barely hands remember to get your water.

The dosa here is amazing. I had the mysore masala which was perfectly crisp and super flavorful. 4 stars because the sambar and chutney were okay, but honestly they aren’t needed if you get the mysore masala dosa

It was a delicious dosa and the man who owns the truck was friendly and very happy to serve us. Everything was a little on the spicy side, but my wife can’t handle the heat so take that with a grain of salt, which she also thought was lacking. Nevertheless, worth a visit to eat a delicious dosa!

We had a take out from here and were very disappointed with the taste. Neither did the food taste fresh at all, nor was it tasty. We ordered masala dosa and uttapam. We absolutely did not like it. We also ordered paneer tikka masala. Which again we absolutely did not like.

Excellent dosa. Very crisp and well roasted. Best south indian food in austin. Idli/vada is pretty good. It’s outdoors and good seating available and clean as well. Highly recommend this place.
