1st time trying. We had the brisket which was moist and meaty, the pulled pork sandwich with coleslaw; Very good, and the bbq chicken which was way to dry and couldn’t be eaten. 🙁 Sides were baked beans, coleslaw and mac and cheese; all very good. We will be back.

I never give this rating, but when there are only a couple menu items available at 4:30 in the afternoon because the cook didn’t feel like cooking, I give what’s deserved. Not much taste to the rib pieces and super fatty. Fries were krinkle cut right out of the freezer. Baked beans were alright but seemed to be Bush’s with some beef added. Sweat tea is bottled from the grocery store, not even homemade. Maybe it was just that day, but sorry, I won’t be back.

Great atmosphere and friendly Staff. Our family went around 5pm, we ordered burnt ends, the ITIS platter and cornbread. I will definitely be ordering the burnt ends again. The platter came with 1lb pulled pork, 1lb pulled beef, 12 wings, 1lb brisket, 1/2 slab ribs, 4 hot links and 2 large sides. They didn’t have wings so we ended up getting more brisket. Which wasn’t a big deal. The pull pork, pull beef and brisket was tender but the flavor wasn’t there and it was dry. The sauce they used for the ribs was excellent, meat was tender but again dry and no flavor. Thinking this platter would be enough to feed a family of five, four adults and one child. The meat portion is good. The large sides is probably enough to feed two adults. Mac and cheese was good but the flavor was missing and the fries were good, they were seasoned well. Cornbread was alright. I look forward to coming here again.

I’ve been wanting to eat here since Smoke Creek closed I miss that place. I figured it would be similar but it wasn’t! There’s like 6 employees standing around on their phone tables not washed & just very unprofessional. Pork was cold bean taste like they’re from a can, ribs were fatty Mac was terrible. Potatoes salad was like store bought. Plastic forks & knives as “utensils’. I wouldn’t go back. Absolutely no class in my opinion.

Had high hopes. Had the brisket and the meat was nice and tender but no real flavors. The only flavor was from the BBQ sauce that they completely smothered it in. I’m not huge into BBQ sauce on my brisket, more on the side and I add as I choose. But then had the Mac and cheese and potato salad, the Mac and cheese had no salt and again, no flavor besides the cheese. Potato salad was good. My wife had the pulled pork and hers was interesting. Again, everything was covered in BBQ sauce. The meat was all crispy and my wife hated it, it was a different experience but still no flavor on the meat itself. Overall it was ok but they do have a bar area. So if you like your meat covered in BBQ sauce then this would be your place if not, well maybe you can order it on the side? That wasn’t an option for us so guess we will see if we come back.

Great ribs with greens and coleslaw that was delicious! Then my mother had the fried chicken with greens and baked beans and everything was simply awesome! A definite recommendation is in order. Friendly staff and great prices too.

First time I tried them, I got the $55 BBQ platter. My wife and I pigged out and had tons left over for lunch the next day. All the food was absolutely delicious, and I especially like the pulled beef.
