Amy said to get the Chicken Schnitzel Sandwich. She was right!! One of the best things I have had in Aspen. The fries were fantastic too. Awesome Blues Musician as well! Try the chicken sandwich. It is almost worth the price… and that says a lot for Aspen! The Rosemary Focaccia, with a Harissa Mayo, Lettuce, Tomatoes, Cheese, and the most perfect Chicken Schnitzel come together in magical ways.

It seems like eating in Aspen is a bit dicey if you don’t want to pay out the wazoo. This place had relatively normal prices (with the regular expected markup), but unfortunately the food could have been better. It was actually potentially good quality but it was so salty! My burger was so salty I had to stop eating it, same with my husband’s cheesesteak. The Brussels sprouts had some sort of weird gloppy sauce plopped on top that was hard to avoid. Overall disappointing. That being said, I enjoyed the ambiance of the patio, which is right in the middle of this cute walkway area that has old bricks, tall trees and even a little stream! That made up for some points in my book.

Great place! Great vibe and the food is fantastic! Don’t let the prices dissuade you because the portions are insane! They also have lots of delicious cocktails on the menu =) definitely recommend

All of our food came out quick and piping hot. We enjoyed the pretzel bites, fried chicken Caesar salad and a burger. Some of the best fries I’ve had in a long time. And good atmosphere. Lots of TVs as well with an understanding of which events were on and when games were switching over.

Idylwilde was my go to happy hour spot on a two week solo trip to Aspen this summer. Their happy hours deals could not be beat. The staff did great as rush orders came in, you could see the sense of teamwork. Lisa the bartender had a rare sense of kindness about her, and was extremely knowledgeable about all the different drink offerings. She deserves a gold medal in multitasking as she never once forgot about me at the bar, all while fixing drinks for the numerous tables outside / in the rest of the dining room. Overall would recommend Idylwilde for a quality drink with genuinely kind service and a low key relaxed vibe.

Our food was just inedible. The salads were brown and the protein was either undercooked or rubbery. If you go here, stick to the fried foods.

It was okay, expensive and not that great. Cheesesteak sandwich was ok, very little meat and all peppers.

Looking for a place to eat and we landed here. Sat outside. Tried the calamari, Reuben and a caprese salad. The food was great. We will be back.

Great food, beer, and service! It’s a great place to people watch on the patio and relax with an afternoon beer.

I come here for the roasted brussel sprouts. They are so good. I can’t comment on the rest of the food. This is the only thing I get.
