Ashling Kitchen & Bar came to fruition with the goal of creating a restaurant full of delicious, fresh food that never takes shortcuts in its efforts to achieve a stellar guest experience. Our menu was created to make sure that we have something to satisfy every type of palate. Ashling is proud to deliver a high-end restaurant experience where people come together for food and fun that is unique to the Crofton community. With our catering company so heavily involved in the music industry, Ashling wanted to find a home base where we could share our event and entertainment culture and love for music with friends and family in the community.

Reservations and prompt seating always make a difference in a food experience for me. The customer service was impeccable. Our server was phenomenal. The drinks were good and food was great! We ordered the calamari and spinach dip, both were delish. For my entree I had the quarter jerk chicken, rice and peas, and plantain. My cousin had the Rasta pasta. This is NOT a Caribbean restaurant but they executed those two dishes well. They have various fares, so whatever tickles your fancy palette you can find. They have steak, meatloaf, fried chicken sandwiches, tacos, and more. You won’t be disappointed. Everything came out quickly, hot, and seasoned to perfection. I highly recommend and I will definitely be back.

30 June 2023. #1 Tip, make a reservation to avoid wait times. The food was pretty good from appetizers to main dish but would not recommend the steak if you are a connoisseur like me. Atmosphere is what you would expect from the name busy like a kitchen but with a relaxed vibe like a bar. Service was good but lagged at the end.

We had a wonderful experience. Everyone is very friendly and attentive. Never had to ask for water or drinks to be refilled. The drinks and appetizers were excellent. We planned to have dinner but enjoyed our first app (cauliflower) so much that we decided to try more ( poutine and flatbread) by the time ordering for dinner came, we were too full. Poutine was my favorite they don’t use their regular fries for it but a special cut potato and it makes all the difference! We had it with the beef gravy. Yum. Also, on a side note, restrooms are very nice and very clean. Looking forward to going back and trying more dishes.

Ashling was absolutely amazing for every step of our wedding journey. When we first found them, we read great reviews and their food looked delicious but my fiancé wanted to taste it before we booked them. I told ashling that and they gave us a sample tasting which included cocktails and the most incredible food all while Stacey and Danielle spent the time answering questions and telling us what the wedding process would look like. We were blown away and signed the contract that day. I was a bit worried, as a gluten free bride, about what our menu would look like but they were so accommodating and being GF was no issue. I was a very detail-oriented bride and when I asked Stacey and Danielle questions or told them my pretty specific vision, they didn’t make me feel like a bridezilla but rather welcomed everything I said and took note of it. Communication was excellent! They didn’t just provide food for us, they made sure our day ran smoothly once they arrived and they covered every little detail beforehand with us. My family and friends, a month later, are still raving about the food and all of our vendors told us it’s the best wedding food they’ve ever had. We didn’t want boring chicken and potatoes for our wedding and Ashling truly provided a memorable meal for us and our guests. Ashling set up our wedding beautifully (welcome table, bar, dinner tables, etc.), the food was delicious, and most importantly, we felt so taken care of on our wedding day.

Finally! A quality restaurant in this area! Everything was absolutely wonderful! Food was delicious and the service was genuinely stellar! The food is authentic and not overloaded with sugar like most restaurants. The drinks were mixed to perfection!

First time dining here and the food and drinks were delicious! The hand crafted cocktails came with a cute “thank you” card with the first round. I appreciated the attention to detail.
