The sushi is better than what youd get at a buffet but is not what id expect from a sushi only restaurant. The rice had no seasoning and several of the balls under the sushi were very hard to the point you couldnt eat it. The slices of fish were alot thinner than id expect too. Did i eat $30 worth of sashimi, nigiri, and rolls. You bet, but would i have rather paid $30 for the same or maybe less food of greater quality and flavor elsewhere? Undoubtedly. There was no doubt of freshness to the fish. For what you get vs the price id say its worth it if you want good quality but more quantity than anything. The atmosphere was off put due to all the miscellaneous supplies and general stuff everywhere. It gave off a hoarder vibe that was concerning. If thats what the front of the house looks like im terrified about the back. The service is a 10/10, the staff are very polite, attentive and will help you in anyway you need. Ive gone twice but do not see a third in my future.

Hidden in this lil plaza. Not huge but quiet and welcoming spot. Service was friendly and the food was good and quick. Went just before 4 and within the hour the place got pretty busy. Another place with a great dessert roll ‘lucky roll’. Really enjoy the volcano roll. Prices are fair and the lower end of All you can eat sushi.

It was overall a great experience at this restaurant, the food was definitely good specially for the price (all you can eat). (Note: they allow you to order up to 2 items)
Resturant was clean, well organized and the servers were very kind also. I’d go back again. Go check it out…!!!!

(Excuse the photos, didn’t have the best lighting for better pictures)

We arrived to this location after learning about the unfortunate loss of Tokyo sushi. We were quickly seated with a party of 4. Our first group order took about an hour to arrive and not all of our food came out. We then put in another large order to account for the prep time. One of the staff members greatly underestimated our will power and hunger when it comes to sushi consumption. He simply could not comprehend the amount of sushi we were ready to devour. He begged us to change our mind…but we refused!! Not scared of the potential up charge the waiter tried to spook us with for uneaten food ! This next round of food came out much quicker than the first order and WE ATE IT ALL UP!EVERY LAST SUSHI! Then for some reason our table suddenly grew and we were now eating with six new people. As we were savoring our well earned green tea ice cream a staff member came over and started stealing everything off our table and fired off about 50 good byes and thank yous until we were shooed out of the restaurant so the rest of the family could take our seats. I then told the family they were welcome to finish the rest of my drink that I wasn’t able to finish! Our friend who was in the bathroom was very confused when he returned to our table full of strangers…overall food was fire!

My go to spot for sushi. The food is always consistent. Get the all you can eat menu, it’s worth it! Some of the best hibachi rice, katsu chicken and so much more. The atmosphere is not the best; very small. When it’s crowded it feels like sardines in a sardine can. But the food is amazing.

We came here for weeknight dinner and it was a full house although no one was waiting for a table to free up. The staff were clearly trying their best but we waited almost 50 minutes for food and people who were seated before us got their food around the same time. The presentation is lacking since so many things are served on disposable items. This is the first sushi place I’ve been to that doesn’t even have you pour your own soy sauce, they give it to you in a pre-portioned tin. Additionally, the waste charges are crazy for the all you can eat in that it’s per piece. There should be an acceptable amount of waste because what if someone wants to try something? I ended up not liking one of my rolls but I ate it anyway because I do not want to pay $2 per uneaten piece. They also limit you to only two orders which I can understand for peak hours but for AYCE price it feels off. The food itself was good despite the wait, just some pieces were less flavorful than others. Service was fine. Maybe it would be worth coming back on a slower day when you have planned exactly what you want so you don’t end up unhappy and fill on food you would have to pay extra for otherwise.

The food is very good. The prices are outrageous considering you can only order twice at an all-you-can-eat buffet. The staff hovers over you like flies on honey, checking to see if you are sharing food. Bathroom is sketchy and outdated. But food wise, solid place.

Expensive but not bad.

this is my 500th time going to Sushi House plantsville and honestly it never disappoints. the food comes so fast and it’s always amazing. the place is not huge but it is ALWAYS packed. Although going on a Thursday night a little later than the dinner rush we had no wait for a table.

My best friend & our daughters absolutely LOVE this establishment. It’s not very large, you would probably drive by without realizing it’s in the plaza. Since it’s BYOB, being right next door to a package store is great. You get a pencil & an order sheet to pick ALL YOU CAN EAT. Portions are smaller so that you can try many different items. I believe due to the pandemic they started using plastic plates & utensils, which I do wish they wouldn’t. That’s really the only downside. Service is very fast too. Prepare to be overstuffed!
