Went for our first time. Like the chef but because we didn’t drink saki I don’t think we got a full show. Our other table were all drinking and they were all having a blast. Food no matter what you ordered you got same amount as person next to you even if the dish was cheaper. Didn’t like that. On the expensive side for the same food the local Chinese restaurant offers. Hopefully next time is just a bit better. We did have a good time and the food was pretty good. But it’s not what I thought it would be.

The restaurant is fairly clean. The service is very friendly. We got salmon and shrimp, salmon, and shrimp hibachi. All of our entrees were good but the shrimp was overcooked so it was rather chewy. With that being said the food was flavorful. They only offer rice as opposed to all of the other places that we’ve been to that offer rice and noodles. The entrees are on the smaller side and pricy. We also got a mango and peach mojito and an Long Island ice tea. Both were a bit too sweet. This restaurant is worth the drive based on the taste.

I’m a little spoiled because I’ve had Sushi on the West Coast quite a bit, but I really like the Arashi Restaurant because the service is very good, the food is always good and fresh, and the atmosphere is fairly cheerful. They have an excellent selection, including some of the gourmet types of Japanese food, and they also have Teppanyaki, the Hibachi style of stir fried food, which is a lot of fun. I would give this 4.5 stars out of five.

The food is good.
I assumed based on a previous review that I could tip the cook on a card or whatever. The cook overheard me mention card and said he doesn’t get anything from a card. Luckily this was towards the end of the show because he was pretty short and rude after that.
That is a pretty ridiculous reason to drive away customers. I usually carry cash for tips but either add a way to tip the cook using a digital payment or add an ATM somewhere. Very unfortunate and jarring experience.

Good sushi and convenient location. You won’t have to deal with Crocker Park traffic. The hibachi is excellent and they have a very nice selection of sake. There is rarely any wait and the staff is very attentive. If you’re celebrating a birthday, they play a song, dim the lights and everyone sings along.

Just not worth the effort. Had the Steak Teriyaki and I’d say it was about as good as a basic truck stop steak. They used a tenderizer wheel which is a sign of cheap cuts. Do not recommend. Music was not inviting. Basic club style beats. Very few GF options for my wife and the staff was confused about what they had to offer.

Chef and food where awesome! But the server was nice at first then when it came time she told me we had to tip her more she has to pay 6% of it to the cook even tho we tipped him when he was done cooking and wouldn’t leave till we put a bigger tip on and I tipped 20% of the bill but to her it wasn’t enough. I will be making a few phone calls in the morning to the owner and whatever other agency’s I can about forcing tips to what they want them to be. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL.

We eat there at least once per year. We love the show, the food and the service. All for a good price. We had a birthday party dinner.
