Applebee’s is usually a great place to go. I’ve been eating at Applebee’s for over 20 years, and usually rate 4 to 5 stars. This time I am giving my dinner a 2 star rating due to poor service. The food was good, but our server was horrible. He either was poorly trained or didn’t care about his job. I think that entire restaurant needs retraining and better staffing.

Good service. The appetizer was wrong and had to be returned but our server caught it soon as she placed it on the table. Food was typical Applebee’s. Nothing special, but just what I expected. I like how they switch the menu occasionally to offer a new twist. Not a fan of the tabletop touch screen devices. They were kinda nasty. They should be wiped down after each guest.

Was in 2 weeks ago visiting from Tennessee en route to a Duke Basketball game. Easy access despite being on a busy road. Met a friend who was running late and the server was very patient. Prompt, helpful service. Drinks were great. Had a fun time and wholesomely enjoyed the food. Will be back if ever in North Carolina

25 minutes we waited to place our order, 45 minutes for our food to come, and ten minutes to eat it. Never checked on us in between, I had to stop someone and ask if they were my waitress. I hadn’t seen her but once so I wasn’t sure what she looked like. When I asked about out food she said they were short staffed. There was about a total of six patrons in the whole restaurant. I had to stop the manager to request out check and not once did we get an apology. Oh…and didn’t even see our waitress after our food arrived. Horrible service.

We had stopped going to Applebee’s for the last year or two, because the quality of the food and service had declined so far. But we decided to give them another try a couple of weeks ago, mainly because they’re one of only a few places open late.

I don’t go here often, but I like the BBQ Brisket Tacos. They are always well done. Staff are always helpful and courteous. Drinks are always topped off. I just wish the menu was expanded. It’s very difficult to pick out anything for an entry so the tacos are my go-to.

Horrible experience and if it weren’t for the guy that did help me I would have walked out. The waitress that was at the counter didn’t even acknowledge me. When the guy asked if I had been helped she said she guessed so. When I got the food home it didn’t look appetizing and it was cold. My mom got the fiesta lime chicken and it looked like Brown chicken and brown rice it was missing the chips and the lime. I will never go here again it’s not worth the money.

Walked in & took 5 minutes before we were seated.. waitress left to talk to another customer while we were placing an order for an appetizer , took 10 minutes for 3 waters , took 30 minutes for the appetizer then got 3 entrees 10 minutes later plus food was cold. Waitress Natasha was initially very friendly and attentive, but that quickly changed. She dropped food items off without looking at or speaking to anyone. Brought one of the three meals before clearing the appetizer dishes and the other two meals did not arrive for almost 10 minutes. The meals were over seasoned but the waitress did not return until she asked about dessert. Never did get a drink refill or the lemon I requested when drinks were ordered. Have had good meals here and very poor. It’s hit or miss. Sad, because they could be very busy all of the time.

Worse service I’ve had in a very long time. the older lady acted like she ran the place, but had little clue. Just watching her work the tables showed she was very frazzled. She didn’t know the difference between a pineapple burger and a bacon burger. Somehow, she mixed up out ticket with the table behind us and they ended up losing the money for 5 of us, AND the other table that got up and walked out. We got a free meal, but it’s not worth going back.
