Established as Bluefin Tuna in 2011 in Seoul, South Korea, we wanted to bring the flavors of Japanese/Asian Cuisine to the States. We have carefully thought out our menu to heighten the flavors of each ingredients to bring the best experience for our palates.

Great place for some fresh sushi!
Had the yuzu Margarita and it was delicious. Would recommend. The tuna is definitely the star of the show here but the salmon was the next runner up. Tempura was fresh and “right off the grill” which was pleasantly crispy. Service was okay, she was nice and accommodating but still learning.

We got take out. The nigiri are uniquely shaped into little balls so the fish to rice ratio is very good value. Fish was very fresh with lots of choices, including chutoro, uni, and amberjack. Standard rolls with nice touches like fresh edible flowers and micro greens. Personally don’t like rolls with tons of sauce on them, most on menu have at least one. The Salmon Twist was good, no sweet or spicy goo.
Pretty good everyday sushi.

Maybe some of the most underrated sushi I’ve had yet in Portland. Ordered 3 rolls and each one was truly excellent. I’m glad I gave this place a try and will certainly be back!

The food was all fresh and excellently prepared. Service was also excellent. Finally, the space was comfortable, bright, spacious, and attractive.
I’ll let the pictures do the talking about the food. It was all good. Though, the least favorite item was the sushi roll. Maybe too much going on there. Simpler items shined brightly!
Highly recommend this if you’re looking for high quality and good value. (Not cheap, but reasonable for the level of quality and the overall experience.)

I give it 4 stars because the food carries more weight in my view. The service was a bit of a disappointment. Friendly, yes, but when they ask me if I want a second beer halfway through my meal and then bring it to me almost 15 minutes later after my dishes have already been cleared away, I don’t think that is very good service. I didn’t want my beer for dessert, I wanted it with my meal. Would I return? For me, that is always the bottom line. I’ll say yes. I’ll just know from now on to order the second bees when I’m halfway through the first. The food was very good. Just shy of excellent, but still very good. This was the happy hour special. These dishes were all $6 except for one which was $7.

Great sushi, weird waitstaff which created a hostile feeling environment.
Two of them were very passive aggressive and it was odd. You could tel they were trying to be nice but underneath were upset at your requests and it just came off bad.
Made the experience not enjoyable.
Such a shame because the food was delicious and pretty

Best happy hour in town. Seriously you get some amazing sushi and appetizer and drink for an incredible price! The service is fast and the staff is so nice.

The flavors of this restaurant are extraordinary. The fish was fresh can I explain each option to you. The presentation was amazing along with the colors in flavors. I did the blue fin tuna sampler B, and it comes with the soup and a salad that has amazing fresh fish in it along with edamame and prawns for dessert. I decided to try some sake for the server suggestion and the flavors match beautifully to my dinner.
I would definitely recommend this place. No wait on a Tuesday evening.

I’m a Washington resident but I’m making this a go-to when I come up here. I’ve tried a lot of sushi restaurants but this one REALLY stands out. Their fish was so fresh, the presentation was super cute and their batter and oil tasted so clean. Server was really sweet and helpful. You definitely get what you pay for!

Sushi was good, great presentation.
More pricey than the usual sushi restaurants I go to.
Waitress was cold at first, like we weren’t their usual customers, but she warmed up.
This restaurant shares the restroom with the restaurant next door and a restaurant can look as nice as can be, but if the restroom looks Iike a gas station restroom, it speaks of a lack of care.
The seats are wood, no cushions seats.
