What a cute little cafe downtown. Met some friends from Vermont for brunch today. Our waitress was Mia and she was an absolute joy and very nice. We ended up getting the southwestern skillet along with the lobster bisque Benedict. The wait for coffee refills and food were a little long but the skillet was delicious!

I asked a team member to please sing happy like any other place to surprise my husband and his response was “we don’t do that and we have no candles” that was everything we were looking forward. since we have no family here.

My honey and I recently spent a couple hours in the morning exploring downtown Charleston and visiting the market before it got too hot and we were starting to get hungry when we stumbled upon this little cafe just steps from the entrance of the market. It was pretty busy and they let us know it’d be a 30 minute wait so we sat down on the steps of a nearby business and started checking out the menu online to kill time. We drove ourselves absolutely nuts, getting hungrier and hungrier reading thru each menu description – each one sounding better and more delectable than the last. Their estimated wait time was spot on and we were so excited to actually get to eat here we literally ran back to the hostess as soon as we were notified our table was ready.

The food is amazing!! I had the smoked salmon benedicts and it was delicious. Harris was the absolute best. He made an Irish Cold Brew for me upon suggestion and it was the perfect compliment to my breakfast. Would highly recommend visiting here.

If you want to waste your whole entire day sitting waiting for food This is the place to go. Chicken was super dry. Grits we’re the worst I’ve ever had. Very watery with zero taste. Anything that was bread related was either burnt or cold. Forgot multiple items after receiving our food after waiting over one hour food. Bathrooms we’re a huge mess, disgusting. Bathroom sinks had green mold all over. Unfortunately to make things a lot worse The server had massive amount of attitude and was very unaccommodating. I think the main problem is they accept tour companies and can’t accommodate to the rush. Definitely don’t waste your time here if you have time constraints or short weekend vacation.

Great food and comfy, cute spot to grab a meal. Only issue was the waitress assumed the kids were ordering from kids menu. What they wanted was regular menu.. so we got small order of pancakes instead usual order of pancakes. But food was delicious!
