So if you are in Austin craving some good ol Mexican food, you should visit this place. We stopped on a whim and were not disappointed. The owner attended to us and added the extra personal touch. She let me sample the flour tortilla…mmm… too bad it was not breakfast because I’m sure they will be good in a taco. My wife loved the beef. I could not get enough of the salsa. The puffy style tacos are filling. If you stop by..provecho!

I’m not sure why it’s taken me so long to try this spot on E. 7th!

Cozy and quaint for being so close to downtown. Next time I’ll try the homemade corn tortillas with the breakfast tacos instead of flour. The chorizo and egg was tasty but I didn’t care for the bacon. It had a very strong flavor that was off putting. Overall average breakfast tacos.

Clean $$$ good customer service. Delicious homemade corn tortillas. Menudo was over cooked for me but it did have hominy, it has potential to be good. Might try again. Food was a bit on the cold side. Good coffee. I didn’t care for the chorizo and bean taco. Chorizo is not cooked into the food, its layered. I did not like the barbacoa, tasted dirty. Chips and salsa have a great flavor. Will try again for better rating.

First time here. Puffy tacos were an absolute DREAM to me! Had the enchiladas as well and homemade corn tortillas are exceptional!

This was my 1st time eating at Angie’s in several years. I will definitely be going back. Everything on my Mexican plate was delicious (crispy taco, enchiladas, rice and beans. The staff was attentive and very friendly. The guy who checked us out at the register even provided some food recommendations for our next visit.

We celebrated my dad’s 77th birthday. The food was great, service was great, they went above and beyond with extra service that we asked for. We fell in love with the owner, she was so caring and friendly. The only downside was we couldn’t pay separate, my brother paid the bill and we all had to pay him.

The food was great, the salsa was spicy and the consistency was perfect. The service was a bit slow, but there was only one waitress that I saw but she did keep the drinks full. The only bad thing I can say is that the place is messy. Not dirty, but just a lot of clutter. Ice chest and dishes etc all exposed. Hanging wires and extension cords. I’ll be back, just not any time soon.

Delicious and authentic food. We had a group of five and easily got seated on a Saturday morning. Everyone got breakfast tacos and enjoyed them. Although we walked there, plenty of available parking if you drive over.
