My spear ribs were prefectly smoked and tasted awesome. Brisket was OK.
I found the menu pricing to be on the high side for Gainesville. With the low overhead of self service and low maintenance interioer design I wasn’t expecting the cost.
The spare ribs were worth the price but the Brisket sandwich was lacking. My sides of Fries,Baked Beans, and cole slaw, was mediocre. Staff was very polite. Lunch for two, Brisket Sandwich with fries, Five ribs bones and two small sides and a sweet tea, $48. If you want great smoked ribs I highly recommend The inked Pig, the other menu items I mentioned above, do not compare.

I’m always on the hunt for BBQ that makes it worth coming back. The inked pig bbq grabbed my attention and kept it. The atmosphere is all chickens and skull candies beside skeletons and s Christmas tree. The BBQ was a perfect balance of smokey juicy goodness. My bacon slices added a beautiful crunch to my sandwich. If recommend you stop in here if you are in the area. It’s with the bite.

This pulled pork mac (Train Wreck as listed on the menu) was very well balanced flavor wise. The pork immaculate and sauce fairly tame and complemented the meat well. No element stood out to much and the jalapeños poked our at the very end.
The atmosphere for me was spooky and jovial (came in december) .
Decently worth a stop in.

I got a half rack of ribs. To me the true test of ribs is how they taste without sauce. I got the Carolina sauce and never tried it. The ribs were so tender and flavorful they didn’t need sauce.
The big negative was a 10% charge for to go orders. It’s getting tiresome having places shift their cost of doing business to the customer. Will not come back due to the surcharge. There are really good BBQ places out there that don’t pull this garbage.

Loved everything! Even let seniors order off
The kid/senior menu! I had The BBQ sandwich with their homemade coleslaw and loved every bite. I chose the sweet sauce but they also had spicy and Carolina mustard sauce as well. The cornmeal fried Okra was the best I have ever had and as a senior I have had a lot. My husband had the smoked turkey, collards and Brunswick stew! All were great. Best collards – a little sweet but cooked to the right tenderness! A great little place in Gainesville, GA we discovered on our way to Elijay to visit friends.

Do not let the area or outside of the building stop you from going here! This really is a hidden gem. Wife and I stopped in for a late lunch at 1:30 on a Thursday. There was no wait and plenty of seating available. She had the pork sandwich with fried okra as a side. I had the rib combo with the collard greens and Brunswick stew. All of the food was AMAZING!!!! The okra and greens were some of the best we have ever had. The ribs were fall off the bone tender and didn’t require any sauce. The pork sandwich was also good and the carolina mustard sauce was very good. They also have a nice selection of draft beers. We will definitely be eating here again when in the area!!!!

Should you go here? I mean does a pig go oink?! (Pun intended) If you are missing your grandmother, she is probably in the kitchen here making her famous collard greens. The ribs are so good we couldn’t even taste them because they ran out not once but twice. But the brisket definitely delivered!!! Thanks Alyssa and Andrew for a wonderful lunch experience!

I’ve ordered Inked Pig via Uber several times before but finally made it onsite for Sunday brunch today. It did not disappoint!! Their BBQ is always phenomenal but they served up the best french toast I’ve ever had this morning!

Delish! My mom recommended this place and we stopped in for brunch. All of their brunch items looked amazing, but we decided to split the brunch cubano, which was plenty for two people. It did include a side – we chose the breakfast potatoes. Prices seemed a little high for a barbecue place to me, but I’m also not very familiar with Gainesville, so this might be the going rate for the area. Regardless, the food was amazing! Others in our group got the lemon waffle and the inked pig breakfast and all were raved about. They offered a peanut butter banana pudding which sounded to die for, but we were too full to get this. Next time!

This is some of the very best bbq I have had this year. The portions are very generous, the barbecue sauces are very tasty. The banana pudding is super good. Whenever you are in Gainesville GA, make sure you stop by and enjoy.
