Angel’s Catering was established on October 30th 1998, by Ms. Evelyn Clayton. She passed the business and skills down to her son Tony Posey, his wife Cathia Posey and their daughter Toni. Also very much instrumental is their eldest children Andre and Antonio posey and Natisha Ellison-Johnson. Together they created what is now known as Angel’s Soul Food & BBQ (Known for cooking the best fried chicken) . While still catering they also rent adult and children throne chairs and offer decorating for events by Mrs. posey. Ever expanding you can enjoy an array of southern delicacies prepared by the Angel’s staff anywhere they are needed. Book Now!

I’ve been in to Angel’s several times before and they’ve never let me down with service or food. The young lady that took my order was very friendly and helpful, as I was a bit undecided as what to get. (I settled on the rib dinner.) The rib dinner includes 4 bones, 3 sides, and bread/ cornbread for $18.99. I ordered a sweet tea with it to wash it down.

We stopped by on the way home from a road trip. I got the Sunday dinner which is 3 sides and 2 meats. It was a huge portion, enough to share with my 10 year old picky eater. Everything was delicious. They have a buffet style set up so you can see all the food as is it prepared for you. The ordering process was quick and easy. All meals are packed to go but The inside is very clean and spacious and we were able to sit down and eat. I also had the peach cobbler. It was a little (extra) sweet for my taste but i was able to eat it. I felt the pricing was fair for the variety and portions offered. Definitely worth the stop.

Stopped in while passing through Sanford and I am so glad I did. The fried chicken and collard greens reminded me of being home in the low country in Charleston, the owners were so friendly kept checking on me to make sure everything was ok and making sure I didn’t need anything. The fried chicken was top notch, absolutely worth stopping in if your in the area and hungry, also if you see their front parking lot full, there is plenty of parking in the back.

Quick stop while on our way to do an airport pick up. No photos I was a hurry needed a quick bite. Amazing chicken, great selection on side dishes. Quick service and friendly atmosphere. Will be my to go anytime I have to go to Sanford airport.

Very good! My family flew into Stanford Airport from Illinois for a cruise and wanted some good Florida food. We stopped into Angel’s BBQ and had a delicious meal, everything from the greens to the candied yams to the made to order fried catfish filet hit the spot! We had to get a plate and desserts to go because we were so full! The staff was very helpful and greeted us with a friendly hello when we came in the door! Thank you for some great music, fresh and delicious food!

Portions were on point. Was a bit disappointed with the meatloaf, was more like chopped steak. Don’t know if it was missing something, like green pepper and onions, very small pieces mixed in, just tasted like hamburger. BBQ Chicken quarter was really good. Overall, it was worth the cost. Next time I’ll pickup and save the delivery and tipping costs

We are from Melbourne and were on a Sunday drive going home and seen signs to stop in for their 3.99 special.. decided to have the full Sunday dinner. So much food!! So delicious!!! My husband and I will definitely be back.
