This was our first time here and my husband and I are fairly new to Mediterranean food. I got the Chicken Shawarma and rice. It came with the garlic sauce on the side and a couple other sauces, so I was able to limit how much I used. It also came with a small container of a salad. It was all very good! I didn’t get the gentleman’s name (I presumed he was the owner,) but he was so kind in helping us order and even helping us as we learned how to eat what we ordered. It was a great experience. We chose this because I recently had a heart attack and am determined to eat much healthier, which was why I only wanted to use light garlic sauce. I was pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed this meal. Also, the portion was quite large and I have enough left over for lunch tomorrow. The place is small and more of a take out kind of place but they do have a couple tables inside and if it’s nice out there are a couple tables outside as well.
Over all I would highly recommend it!
Eat healthy my friends!

Today was my first time going to Little Damascus. I’m new to the area and have tried similar restaurants and have been disappointed. I was greeted by Michael and we had great conversation all while he was preparing my food fresh. I kept it simple with a gyro combo and some grape leaves. It’s been a while since I’ve been somewhere that serves the grape leaves hot and fresh like they do here. I took a bite as soon as I got in the car and it was phenomenal. When I finally opened the gyro box I was delighted to see the hand cut fries cooked and salted to perfection. Michael had asked me if I wanted everything on the gyro and I didn’t even read what came on it but I’m not picky at all. It has some very fresh tomatoes, house made pickles and was piled up with the gyro meat I watched him cut off the spindle minutes before I ate. I think the garlic sauce was supposed to go on the gyro but the flavors in that spoke for themselves and I just used it to dip my fries in instead. One of the best garlic sauces I’ve tasted hands down. While we chatted and he prepared my food we talked about the various desserts and he let me sample the one with coconut and the sweet syrup that’s kind of like a cake. I don’t remember what it was called but that was such a nice treat and I really heavily devated on buying a piece after that bite, but I’m trying to cut back on sugar. From the minute I walked in I knew this was the hole in the wall spot I’ve been looking for and the service and food reassured that feeling 100%. Michael says I need to try the shawarma and the keftas and I can’t wait to do so.

I had an amazing experience at Little Damascus in Niles, Ohio. The food is absolutely fantastic. I ordered the chicken and rice, and it was perfectly seasoned, tender, and full of flavor—comforting and delicious in every bite.
Their pita is warm, soft, and fresh, the kind you can’t stop eating. And the baklava? Truly outstanding—perfectly flaky with just the right amount of sweetness. It’s the kind of dessert that instantly makes you want to order another piece.
Overall, Little Damascus is a gem. Friendly atmosphere, authentic flavors, and consistently great food. Highly recommend!

Wow!!!! Soooo good! These are the best stuffed grape leaves I’ve ever had at a a restaurant! And the kibbeh was delicious!!! I do not live locally so I am pretty sure I will crave these for the rest of my life lol.

We drove 30 minutes to get here, and unfortunately it was very disappointing. There didn’t seem to be anything fresh besides the chicken shawarma, which also looked like it had been sitting there for a long time.
There was an elderly woman taking orders, and she seemed to have difficulty hearing and understanding us. She mentioned lamb shawarma and beef shawarma, but it appeared to be frozen or pre-packaged, as there was nothing actually cooking on the grill.
We left shortly after arriving because the place did not feel inviting at all. The restaurant felt very stuffy and had an unpleasant smell.

Excellent menu, excellent food. I usually have the lamb and rice or chicken and rice. Their grape leaves and kibbie is great too. If you’re unsure what to order, the owner will provide suggestions or you can keep it simple and order shawarma or a gyro

Very small inside. Mostly takeout with 3 tables of 4 chairs each. The food is phenomenal. The garlic sauce is amazing. I had the chicken shawarma plate and my wife had the sandwich. Both were amazing. First time I had tried shawarma and now I’ll crave it regularly. The people were very friendly and the menu explains everything pretty well for those who don’t know this style of food well.
