I absolutely loved this place!! The food was amazing very fresh and very authentic. They have the normal stuff but what I got was this chicken hot pot which was amazing and my wife got deep fried chicken which was just as great. Lee and Dan Dan were awesome and helped us with our choices and were really nice and friendly we liked them a lot!! Everything is awesome will go back! Very glad there’s REAL Chinese restaurant is in town!

My fiance and I ordered take out from here. She got the general tsos chicken and I got the cumin lamb. Her chicken was really good but my lamb was just ok. We also each got an egg roll and one order of crab Rangoon to split. They were both really good too. I definitely want to go back and try something other than the cumin lamb.

Ordered on DoorDash. Went to pickup and Saw the following sign. I Was really looking forward to trying some of their food as I’m new to the area. Hopefully they can find some used staffing soon!

One of the best authentic Chinese restaurants in this area. The flavor is just exquisite and the service is top notch. Their menu has a variety of dishes and they are all made fast and cooked to perfection. This restaurant never disappoints! Thank you for your amazing food!

We have gotten take out here three times now. The food seems very authentic as it’s not your typical sugared-up Chinese-American fast food that I’m used to seeing. Food is cooked nicely and has a good flavor profile.

I have to come there many times only because my lady loves the cumin lamb dish. My last visit I asked the lady behind the counter for 3 homemade mustard. This has never been a problem in the past but she said only 2. I asked her again and she said “I’ll have to charge you”. I politely told her I always get 3 and that’s ridiculous being I just spent $25.00 and you can’t give me what I’m asking for. She said “It’s the owner not me” with an angry tone. Whoever the owner of this establishment is now (before it was Kings Palace) needs to know that the employees blame him/her for everything because I heard her say the same thing to another customer over the phone. It’s such a shame because my lady loves your lamb but after this I’m not coming back. I’ll stick with Lucky Star which never disappoints!

Just ate from here less than 10 minutes ago. Egg rolls were empty, Wonton soup tasted like old towel and the two chicken dishes we got has a metallic/ketchup taste. We spent $40 here and each took 3 bites. Seems like a lot of the good reviews were from a while ago and the recent ones were mostly bad experiences. There is a sign on the door saying “Takeout only due to labor shortage” which also tells me they don’t pay a living wage. Good luck!

My husband and I wanted to try a Chinese food place with good reviews. We just moved in the area less than 6 months ago. We decided to go with this one. I usually eat the same thing from Chinese stores and I didn’t eat anything unusual other than eating at this new Chinese store. I woke up this morning with an extreme allergic reaction with a swollen upper lip. It was so bad I went to the ER. They may have cooked with something my body reacted to, not sure what. I never knew I was allergic to anything until now. Also I did not enjoy their food. This is a one and done for me. So much for good reviews

I live right around the corner and Lucky Star has always been my family’s go to Chinese place. Thought we’d try something different tonight and we’re glad we did. The staff was very nice and even recommended a few dishes. We tried the Dan Dan Noodles and Fried Dumplings. The noodles were amazing and I’d even try to add some chicken/beef and broccoli to make a meal of it next time. The Fried Dumpling were amazing. You could tell they make them here fresh. For entrees we tried a bunch of different things. A Beef Hot Pot, Toothpick Lamb and Sweet and Sour Chicken. The Sweet & sour Chicken was just as good as any other Americanized Chinese food. The Beef Hot Pot & Toothpick Lamb were more authentic but the seasoning overpowered the meals. It wasn’t bad, but it could’ve been much better if the seasoning wasn’t overdone & each individual ingredient stood out more. That being said we had a great experience and planning on coming back to try some more different entrees!
