I am writing to express my deep disappointment regarding the unacceptable experience my son and I had at your Cherry Creek location on the evening of December 31, 2025 — his birthday eve, and his first time ever visiting Chipotle.
I informed the staff that we were celebrating his birthday. We waited in line behind a couple which received two full, properly prepared bowls. Their guacamole and salsa were served separately in clean cups, exactly as expected when an item carries an extra charge.
When it was my son’s turn, the treatment was completely different. He received a bowl that was almost empty. All we requested was steak and rice — no beans, no salsa — yet he was given a portion so small it was insulting. I could literally count the meat cubes — around ten pieces — and the rice was barely half a spoon. You could see the bottom of the bowl.
We did ask for guacamole, but instead of serving it in a separate cup (as done for the customers before us), the employee dumped it directly on top of the tiny portion of food and smeared it across the steak. My son never asked for it to be served that way. The guacamole completely covered the food to the point where you couldn’t even see what was underneath.
Because the guacamole was cold, it instantly cooled down the already minimal amount of steak and rice. By the time we drove home — barely ten minutes — everything was cold, soggy, and unappetizing. This is not the quality or presentation Chipotle advertises, and certainly not what was served to the customers before us.
What made the situation even worse was the complete inability to communicate with anyone. There was only one employee working, and she spoke only Spanish. There was no English‑speaking staff member available to address concerns, answer questions, or even acknowledge the issue. For a prime Denver location — Cherry Creek, one of the most central and upscale areas — this is unacceptable and frankly shameful. I had to go home and call customer service just to speak with someone who could understand me.
This was supposed to be a special birthday evening for my son. Instead, we left frustrated, disappointed, and feeling completely disregarded.
I expect this matter to be taken seriously and addressed promptly.

I’m surprised by the low rating because we had a great experience! The store is very clean and organized, the staff during our visit at 7pm on 9/21 were extremely kind and professional. The food was well stocked and super fresh, and our portions were very healthy. Highly recommend!

Had a pick up order for 4:10, they started it at 4:06. I think the guys name was Scott, he tried to help roll my burrito. I do get a lot on my burrito. He went to the back and asked the lady in the picture named Carla to roll my burrito, she said just a minute while being in the back and then this group of people came in, I’m guessing to help train.. idk anyways she’s completely ignoring me went to the people talking laughing, while knowing she had to roll my burrito but didn’t care and showed she didn’t care straight to my face. The man Scott was watching her knowing it was rude with what she did and the look on his face was like omg. She looked at him and said just a minute. So I intervene and I say I’m sorry to disrupt the family reunion but can you roll my… then she cuts me off, decides to throw up her hands in my face with money and says with an attitude “I NEED TO WASH MY HANDS I CANT DO IT, THATS WHY SHE CLOCKED IN.” Keep in mind she didn’t tell the nice young lady who clocked in to roll my burrito so I’m still just standing there waiting. Then Scott says to Carla where is (the nice young lady who clocked in) I didn’t get her name and Carla tells him, go get her to roll the burrito. So she didn’t initially tell the young lady to roll my burrito. The nice young lady come out and rolls my burrito she was sweet and so was Scott, I hope I’m saying his name right. This is officially my last time coming to this location. It does suck because I work at the bank right across the street, but I rather go to the chipotle by cheba hut than deal with service like this. She did all of that in front of everybody, workers and customers. I will advise my coworkers at the bank to not go to this chipotle if this Carla is still working there. Everybody else was nice. I left there at 415. I am on a timed lunch so when I place an order and it’s not busy I just thought the service would have been a lot better. I did make a review earlier in the year about the gauc bc it made my stomach hurt afterwards and did not look that great. I ignored it and was like maybe it was a bad day. But the way Carla behaved was not okay. That was the worst customer service I had seen in this area. I hope she is not a manager because that is not a good example. Usually I would not care but the way she handled that was extremely unprofessional and I hope whoever goes there does not have to be helped by Carla just to avoid the bad experience. She could have easily told the group my apologies let me wrap this burrito or she could have simply said, I’m sorry ma’am I have to take care of this, I didn’t wash my hands we have someone working on it. And I would not have felt a way at all. Anyways. Over this location. Apologies but it does take one person to mess it up for everyone. The young lady, Scott and the gentleman who was sweeping the floor when I came in was excellent

Super clean establishment. They helped me in a timely manner. They didn’t over suggest shit to me and pressure me to spend money I didn’t plan on spending. They gave me exactly what I wanted and it was great!! Very good, fresh food at a decent price.!! I will be returning the next time I’m busy and need to grab a quick, good bite to eat while I’m out. Thank you!

Every single time I go to this location something is off. Yesterday I went in to pick up an order I had placed 10 minutes prior. It was ready 20 minutes after I arrived and 20 minutes after it said it would be ready. The employees in the back didn’t start making my order until I had been there waiting for 10 minutes, and on top of that the guy who made my order made sure to refill his drink while staring at me waiting for my order. They messed up my order and gave me half as much Fajita veggies that I had asked for, no cheese and less chicken then requested. I am now waiting for an order I placed 40 minutes ago and the delivery person has been changed three times because the order is taking so long. I am beyond frusterated and also I’ve been in this location many times. There is a lady who works the front who has a very rude demeanor and acts as though she’d rather be doing anything else. Train your staff better because this is seriously ridiculous that something wrong has happened almost every time I’ve ordered. Also it’s taken me an additional ten minutes to write this order and my door dasher has changed yet again. It’s now been nearly an hour since I placed my order.

A nice “local” (now massively corporate) and affordable option in this high-end area. The burrito-ista was very attentive and the manager seemed on top of things. Food was up to the Chipotle standard of freshness, quality and flavorful ingredients. The new chicken al pastor was done just right, not too salty as have had at other locations.

Nice BIG Chipotle right by the Cherry Creek Shopping Center. Decided to stop here to get a food break from a 30 minute walk. It was great! The staff were friendly, plenty of seating, clean, and delicious food and GREAT portions! The Chicken Burrito Bowl I got with a side of guac (costs money) was delicious. Also has a good selection of drinks to have.
Street parking available as well. So, to sum it up, great Chipotle location. Will be back!
P.S. Don’t forget to sign up for their rewards program! I used my points to get a free side of guac today!

They were refilling lots of items, had to wait a bit to order. The lady gave me the good lettuce for my salad, says she does the same, somehow ended up with a bowl of rice and steak that we didn’t order. Already home when discovered, whoops.

Every time we order a burrito from this location, there is never any meat. It’s almost as if they purposely skip the meat when building the burrito. This is just rice wrapped in a stale tortilla. Chipotle really needs to be held more accountable. This is getting ridiculous.

Ordered online, went to pick up and the bag felt empty. Walked back to my office and the reason was, there was hardly any food in the bowl. I paid $16 for a half empty bowl. There was maybe a tablespoon of rice, no sour cream (I ordered extra) no cheese and I literally counted 5 pieces of chicken. Also, no lettuce or salsa like I ordered. I usually can’t eat an entire bowl, not only did I eat the toddler size bowl, but I am still hungry which NEVER happens at other locations. How many reviews on skimping food do y’all need to get before you improve?
