Last year this food truck was our go to favorite place for dinner a few times a week. Being a local eating out in the summer months are not always an option. It was the most exciting thing ever to find them open again for the 2023 season!! Such a great addition and alternative to restaurant take out. Trust me when I tell you this place DOES NOT EVER DISAPPOINT. We have honestly tried everything on their menu multiple times and they are hands down second to none on the Outer Banks bypass. Their food, service, and above all, their passion for what they do shows as soon as you open your order. Don’t miss the opportunity to try them if you’re here on summer vacation and if you’re local like me than ya already know what I’m talking about. #iykyk

These guys are the best! After feeling defeated in duck by not being able to get a table anywhere we figured we would kick back and grab some good old fashioned food truck grub. We stopped by the Anchor Grill and we are sure thankful we did. Pictures are below. The food was excellent! I got the Buxton Burger with American cheese, Lettuce, tomato, onion and Mayo. It was delicious to say the least but was nice and hot, flavorful, juicy and cooked to order. The burger was so fresh each bite I took had steam coming off of it. My wife got the fried shrimp, rice and beans. I had the pleasure of trying hers as well. The shrimp was so fresh and the batter coating them made them all the more tasty. The coleslaw is soooo good as well and I rarely say that about coleslaw. It was creamy and had a delicious sweet flavor to it as well. They were friendly. There is outdoor seating available and they are right next to the soundside. Great eats, great views, will return. Thank you!

A friend recommended this for a delicious, quick service option and it’s absolutely spot on. As locals, we’re wary of dealing with crowds during the summer months and this is a perfect solution to pick up restaurant quality food, locally sourced, and grub out without a crowd! We enjoyed Teach’s Tacos and the Big Wave wrap, washed down with pints from Growlers to Go. Will be a new go-to stop for beach food to go, or a pint+lunch option.

John and Jim were friendly and inviting from the moment I stepped out of my car. I ordered Teach’s Tacos with blackened tuna last night and they were so good that I went back tonight to try the Beach Bowl with blackened tuna tonight. Everything is fresh and delicious. Great ingredients is one thing, but execution of chef Jim’s caliber is rare. Every bite is so good that you try to eat it slowly, so you can really savor it completely. You can tell they put a lot of thought into every detail.. I mean zoom in on those house made (or I guess truck made, haha) chips and that pico de gallo, for example. The slaw is great. everything is great.. I could go on, but to sum it up quicker.. If you’re looking for a trip to a “friendly flavor town”, definitely hit this place up. Thanks guys! I’ll be back soon and many times to come! Cheers!
