The staff at Aja is always super sweet ( shout out to Stan who is stellar at customer service, he’s always so welcoming and is one of the main reasons we keep coming back !) I’ve ordered sushi so many times from Aja and it’s always rolled so nicely and they have such good combinations of seafood, it’s hard to pick a favorite but the main thing is its always fresh! Don’t sleep on Aja because it’s tucked away! It’s a smaller restaurant than others in the area, but the food can go toe to toe with the larger dine in sushi restaurants!

I am SUPER picky with sushi. With that out of the way, this is such a good platter! At the top of the plate is their mango shrimp roll, the rest of the plate is their spicy grab meat. I drizzle my soy/wasabi sauce over top, please don’t judge me, or do . My favorite sushi restaurant for a while was in Astoria Queens, this has just taken the crown. Delicious flavors, beautiful presentation, good portions and the rolls do not fall apart like in many places. My rating – 10/10 if you are new to sushi, this place will not disappoint! I have been here 4 times already, every time the food was delicious, looked great and was exactly what I ordered. Their “chineese” food isn’t your normal takeout, it’s lighter on the sauce. Even with that, this asian fusion sushi take out is as good if not better than any sit down I’ve been to.
