The rib tips here were amazing. My husband has no idea what he’s supposed to do now that you guys are gone. He would eat here at least once a week. We’re going to have to visit you’re other locations now. Midway was just sooooooooo close!!! Anyways… We definitely miss you guys already!!!

Best BBQ. I love this place. There wings and rib tips are the bomb . For real .
I always get the mild sauce on the wings and rib tips. Then a small cup of the hot sauce to go. I dip everything in the hot sauce little at a time. It’s spicy. But Leon’s is very good. Try it and it wont let u down.

Tried calling to place to an order for pick up if I can. Called the restaurant at 12pm, no answer and tried calling again and it went to voicemail. Decided to just drive there cause they could be busy due to it being game day. When I arrived it was kind of dark but looked like there were employees there and cars parked in front. Tried to go in and the doors were locked, no one came to open it but employees were working, tried calling and no answer. Decided to go to Nickys on Archer near Cicero and I HIGHLY recommend them for their rib tips and customer service

Leon’s Barbecue is a true gem of Chicago located in the neighborhood of Brighton Park, serving up some of the most delicious barbecue around. From the moment you step inside, you are greeted with the enticing aroma of slow-cooked meat and the sound of sizzling on the grill. The menu at Leon’s is filled with classic barbecue dishes, each one packed with flavor and cooked to perfection. The standout dish, without a doubt, is their famous barbecue Ribs and rib tips. If you’re a fan of barbecue, the slab of ribs at Leon’s Barbecue is an absolute must-try. The Slab comes with crispy and well-seasoned fries and a slice of bread. The meat is cooked to perfection, tender and juicy, with a smoky flavor that is sure to satisfy your cravings. The standout feature of this dish, is the homemade barbecue sauce. This sauce is a true masterpiece, perfectly balancing sweet, savory, and tangy flavors that make the meat even more delicious. It’s so good that the fries are covered in it. The portion size is generous, making it an excellent choice for sharing or for those with a big appetite. In addition to the food, the atmosphere at Leon’s is casual and welcoming. The staff are friendly and attentive, always happy to make recommendations and provide information about the dishes. The restaurant is small, with limited seating, but this only adds to the cozy and intimate vibe. Leon’s Barbecue is a must-visit spot for anyone looking for delicious barbecue in Chicago. The food is excellent, the service is top-notch, and the atmosphere is warm and inviting. Whether you’re a barbecue enthusiast or just looking for a great meal, Leon’s is definitely worth a visit.

Took the Red Line down to Roosevelt and then Orange Line to Kedzie. I ordered the Rib Tips small. Went to Grant Skate Park to eat it but had to take the Orange Line back. It was the Rib Tips, fries and 2 pieces of bread. It was solid but nothing crazy and also I had to eat it in the humid outside on a bench so that wasn’t the best either. The fries were super good tho, nice and crispy.

They get you in and out. But this sauce is DARK and HOT. The sauce is the worst I’ve had in my adult life. The sauce was hot and the meat was cooked okay. The sauce was overwhelming and took away from the experience. Not good at all change the sauce and do a

I wanted to know the Chicago rave was about and tried Leon’s BBQ and regret it. RIBS- To salty, not meaty (literally bones) did not fall off bone I had to saw the bones apart. RIB TIPS – Salty, fatty not enough meat. SAUCE – very bland for BBQ sauce it was the consistency of honey. I’m glad I at least tried it but can’t promise I would return.
