On my way home from hospital i decided to stop here for lunch. The place was totally empty and i wasn’t sure it was open. Owner was sitting at a table and was obviously irritated to have to move to counter to take my order. I asked a couple questions about the menu and apparently took too long. Before I finished ordering a taco and enchilada he cut me off and said for me to go somewhere else. First time I’ve ever been denied service. I’m still not sure why this guy was so irritated. No wonder this place was empty. I promptly went just down the street to Fernando’s where I was graciously served a great Mexican lunch!

We ordered and did not get a receipt, just gave the name. We waited and waited, people that came 15 min after us got their order. Finally went to the person at the counter. They told me you already picked up. I said no, we are waiting. I was told again no it is already gone. I went to the cashier that took my order, showed him my google pay info he looked at me and said do u have a receipt. I said u did not give me one. He looked on the pay computer and found my order. We waited another 10 min.

So good! Stopped after a hike in the San Juan Mountains. Had the “Grande Burritto” with chicken. Husband had the steak. HUGE burrito. We were starving and only at 1/2. Super cute decor. Family-owned. Highly recommend.

Was stuck in the area for a part of a day and decided to look for a cheap local restaurant and came across this place. Been coming here to this family run place for years. Food is consistently excellent and the people are friendly and they have micheladas. Eat inside or on the patio. Vegetarian friendly ample parking in the Armstrong Nursery center on Del Obispo.
