So me and my friends food came to maybe $25, drinks for 2 people maybe $8, why did our bill come to $40? So, tax is $8? Our waitress spent more time on breakes and her iPhone, not cool, and she never brought the bill. So, who knows what was actually charged. For everyone saying it’s a new place, it’s not. They just moved from one building in Monahans to a newer one, so cut that out. I would eat here again despite that overcharge. But they need to work on it.

We have been to this place at the old Location by Mitchell’s. We didn’t like our first experience but decided to give it another shot since in a new place! Food was No Good! Once Again! I ordered the Steak Tampiqueno and my Wife The Red Cheese Enchildada plate. The salsa is really bland and no kick to it. The steak was cooked descent but no spices, flavor or marinada!! My wife’s Enchilada sauce was so bland and looks like the brown sauce they sell in a can its supposed to be red! The beans are canned refried beans, Cheese is Government cheese, cheap doesn’t taste right or melt right, yuck ! The only thing good was the Michelada beer drink and service was descent! Food is horrible. I do NOT RECOMMEND! ♂️ ♂️

The food is good but not consistent all the time. Good service depends on the waitress, some will not let you know they are out of something until they bring your plate to the table and you tell them an item is missing they will say “we are out of it”. Sometimes, they get so busy, and it’s like they can’t keep up with the demand, and they take long to check on you for refills, etc. or may take a while with a request. It can be a hit or miss.

Staying in a hotel next to Agave and it was recommended by the hotel staff. It did not disappoint. Food was tasty. Salsa had a kick, tacos were good and burrito was huge overflowing with meat! Chicken fajita meat was delicious! The price was very reasonable for the amount of food received. Staff was polite and very attentive.

Lengua and barbacoa tacos are fantastic and filling. So was the fajita parrilla. Service was great, overall i recommend this if you are craving authentic Mexican food in monahans

Be there several time and also old place. Food was excellent. Out service was phenomenal.. our waitress Vannesa was awesome . Best service I’ve there yet.Everytime this lady passed by our table she stopped to make sure we were doing ok and see if we needed anything.
