Fajitas werent good, shrimp no fl5avor, beans no flavor, gordita bread to thick and open not even authentic gordita! Only thing good here are the Micheladas! I do not recommend! (Old Review) We have been to this place at the old Location by Mitchell’s. We didn’t like our first experience but decided to give it another shot since in a new place! Food was No Good! Once Again! I ordered the Steak Tampiqueno and my Wife The Red Cheese Enchildada plate. The salsa is really bland and no kick to it. The steak was cooked descent but no spices, flavor or marinada!! My wife’s Enchilada sauce was so bland and looks like the brown sauce they sell in a can its supposed to be red! The beans are canned refried beans, Cheese is Government cheese, cheap..

Not a lot of sit down restaurants in the area. Service was okay. Food was average. Hotel recommended to eat here. Wouldn’t say it’s a go to restaurant but it worked for dinner while we were passing through for the night.

Amazing experience! We visited this place for the first time while coming from out of town, and we were truly impressed. The service was super fast, the food was absolutely delicious, and the portions were generous. Everything exceeded our expectations, and we will definitely be coming back. Highly recommend!

The food that was recommended was very very good. The drinks were fantastic. Service was awesome. The staff was fantastic. Very hospitable.
My food came out faster than I realized the drinks were awesome. It’s always nice to see they have a good selection of tequila, especially 1942.
I will definitely be back.
And my waitress was awesome. She made some great recommendation for food.

I wanted beef fajitas and received steak fajitas that tasted old and sour like it’s been sitting out . The guy that took my order I had to literally yell at him to come check on my food, he was too busy on his phone. The manager
Rosalia said she couldn’t offer me a refund but said she would remake the food, ive never had disgusting service and food from Mexican restaurants. I do not recommend.

We ate here because of the ratings and lack of places open in Monohans. The food was good, and we started off with things quickly, sat us immediately, brought drinks and took orders quickly. Then it slowed down and we had to wait a minute for our check. The waitress seemed like she got bogged down with tables and we got lost in the confusion. The food was good, rice was somewhat bland.

Really enjoyed our visit to Agave Taqueria. Chips were crispy and salsa was really great with just the right amount of heat. Good portion sizes on the meals. Hubby had the beef enchiladas and I had the beef soft tacos. Beef in the enchiladas was well seasoned and the sauce was flavorful. The beef soft tacos were tender and overflowing the corn tortillas. Rice and beans were also very good. Great location close to the interstate.

We stopped in when they extremely busy on a Saturday afternoon and got prompt courteous service. The food was plentiful and looked just like it did in the menu pictures. Needless to say, it was very well prepared, came out quickly, and was very tasty. Lastly, the large frozen margarita was excellent!

Ordered the #13 corn gordita was raw and barley stuffed with meat, due to it being raw it was literally busted opend and couldn’t even pick it up to eat it.
