This was a door dash order in Torrington. I usually order the same thing for the most part from this place. Normally they are good but today the fries were drowned in salt. They were so salty I could not eat them. I moved the fries around to take a picture of the amount of salt the tray had. Its ashame. I will probably not order again since the orders are always inconsistent. One order once had like 5 fries another time the rice pilaf was a little undercooked. Sometimes u get enough fries and other times its extremely minimal. This is the 2nd time the fries were salty but today its overkill. The pico de gallo sometimes does not look fresh. You never know if the food will be good or not so its a hit or miss with doordash. At least you could send it back and get it remedied dining in. The oreo cake with the icecream is always good.

We went to the Torrington 99 Restaurants when my aunt’s tires for her car got fixed. To start off, we got free popcorn, which I demolished quickly. For our starters, Sharon got a cheeseburger with fries and a ginger ale, and I got fish and chips with a Starry. The fish was crumbly, and it melted in my mouth. I was going to give it a 5 star rating, but they don’t do double burgers, which, instead, caused me to get the fish and chips. For our desserts, Sharon got the salted caramel cheesecake, and I got the chocolate chip cookie skillet. For the downside, I had to give it a 4 star rating. The total came out to be $65.91 before any taxes and the tip. Thank you, Torrington, for the best day ever!

My wife and I stopped in for a late lunch this week and Amber waited on us. Amber was not only great at what she did but at the end of the meal, when you left, you were very positive in your own attitude. Amber always had a smile, when asked something she replied with’ “Of course”. Amber needs to train the entire wait staff of the world. Do you know how good we would all feel after eating out?

I’m not gonna lie I was actually dreading going here because I wanted to go to Texas roadhouse so me and my husband went and I got the steak tips. My husband got the steak tips and chicken tenders. Both were absolutely amazing they were really good the baked potato was really good and the salad is good. I am one to complain if my food is nasty I had no complaints. It was clean. It was a friendly atmosphere, and the food was really good I’ll definitely be going back for another date . Only reason I give 4 stars is because I got my steak smothered and the peppers were like raw in the onions. We’re not cook long enough and I’m big on that.

I went to the one in Torrington CT for the 1st time and I was very impressed by our server along with the food being excellent as well!! That you for the amazing atmosphere that in turn allowed me and my friend to have a fabulous date!!! I without a doubt highly recommend going to the restaurant for a great meal and a great time to match together!

We all know what we’re getting into when we go to resturants like this, so I’m reviewing appropriately.
I went in with the mindset that this is 1/2 step above Applebee’s and I was right! The spicy chicken sandwich was decent, solid menu item, could they have taken out my chicken a little earlier for the golden crisp? Yes, but I’m not complaining. The Mozzeralla
Moons or whatever they called them were decent, fake resturant mozz, but you know what 5/10 not bad at all. The loaded mashed potatoes……that bacon was colder than my personality. No idea what they were thinking on that one. No good.
Now for the service/environment. The floors are NASTY NASTY NASTY. Buncha food and wrappers on the ground, but we don’t judge so long as the food, but it’s a chain so I’m judgin! The service was GREAT the waitress was super cool and even corrected the nasty loaded mashed potatoes. Shout out to her, promote her, give her 5 raises!
All on all 3/5 stars, it’s iight. Come here with the iight mindset

On Oct. 6th I took a friend who is legally blind for lunch and I had the turkey dinner and Terry had fried shrimp and both meals were delicious and our waitress, Marissa was great. On Oct. 12th I took my granddaughter who had the sirloin tips & chicken tenders and I had the chicken pot pie which were so good and our waitress Bailey was very nice. Now today I had lunch with my friend and we had the chicken salad and barbecue pork ribs that were excellent and Michelle our waitress was so helpful. Always enjoy our meals at 99.
