Great food here! We had the flank steak and feta chicken, both were excellent. Nice outdoor seating area if the weather is good. If not, you can’t go wrong with the cozy inside atmosphere with it’s open kitchen. Calypso is BYOB so bring your favorite drink. Be sure to try this place.

Tucked back in a quiet nook right off of the Main Street in Skippack. Free pita and oil to start the dinner. Friendly service and lots of options. We sat outback on the large patio that was shaded during the day and had patio lights strung around the fence for setting the mood at night.

All this place needs is word of mouth. The setting is tranquil, and the tables are graciously spaced. I recommend upstairs for added atmosphere. We had a table of four and everyone was able to find something exciting on the menu. If you enjoy authentic Mediterranean cooking, you will be impressed. I thought it was a risky order as it was the most expensive thing on the menu. In fact my son pointed that out to me subtly. The price was worth the flavors. The lamb was amazing. It was plated so well, it worried me; I was worried it wouldn’t be as good as it looked. It was quite simply, the best I have ever had. I was not the only one at the table that left impressed. We highly recommend this place and hope you will experience a meal as fantastic as we did.

BYOB with indoor and outdoor seating options. Outdoor seemed nice at first, but we were seated next to the township bathroom and had a line next to our table at one point waiting for that. They also started cleaning the tables for the night at 8:30 when they didn’t close until 9:30. Had the Mezze Platter as an appetizer, but this was underwhelming and lacking in flavor. They also had substitutions compared to the menu description without giving us a heads up. I would have been disappointed paying $10 for it, but instead, it was $19. As others have mentioned, the pita was delivered only after we were halfway done with the platter. When ordering the entree, we tried ordering two different salmon meals but were later informed that they were out of salmon. Then, tried to order the lamb shank, but they were out of that, too. With only 12 entrees on the menu, they were out of 25% of their options on what seemed like a quiet Saturday night. The chicken kebabs were moist but bland, and the shrimp and feta orzo were lacking flavor. With MUCH better Mediterranean options in KOP, Pottstown, Phoenixville, Downingtown, etc, we unfortunately won’t be trying this place again. I should mention that the host/waiter was attentive/friendly and did the best with what he had to work with.

Beware. They were out of gyros, pita bread came for the falafels 30 minutes after the falafel were at the table, our party didn’t get to eat together b/c meals were one every 15 minutes, and the portions were so teeny. Really disappointed as our group left hungry and disappointed.

Firstly, the ambience was pleasant with soft lighting and music. We took up spots upstairs. The waiter was friendly and kind and the service was fast enough. Coming to the food, we tried the Mezze platter and liked the hummus and baba ganoush dips. The figs were fresh and delicious however, the pita bread was only okayish. I would suggest the restaurant to improve the bread quality. Coming to the main course, tried the Shish Tawook. The chicken was tender and juicy and the feta orzo was flavorful. The overall experience would have been a five star if only the pita bread was made better. Otherwise, this is a good spot.

My wife and I went here for our anniversary. The food was exceptional. The cous cous with the sea bass is out of this world! We will definitely be coming back.

Outstanding lunch! Hummus and falafel apps were delish and good amount for two. Shrimp on salad was perfectly seasoned. And steak gyro was yummy. Thanks Mo!
