I never give 5 stars but when I do, it’s a place like this one. Love the food, atmosphere is great! Such a hidden gem this one is. The dishes are served in these cool bowls which makes it feel authentic. Such favor, I am a fan of spice and these dishes made my taste buds dance. Definitely a recommend from me.

I got the samosa chaat for takeout, however I ate it right away & it was cold. It tasted like it had been sitting for a while. I also ordered the vegetable briyani which also was not good. I am vegetarian and found pieces of chicken in my briyani. I love Indian food but this place was not it. If you’re going to eat here, do not order either of these two items.

Nice little Indian restaurant near the Hylton Performing Arts Center. Great vegetarian options on the menu. Well spice food with a little heat. Food was freshly prepared.
To many TVs to have a quiet conversation.

Food was great very flavorful nice presentation atmosphere is pleasant service was quick and polite. My only issues were I wish I could have gotten a lil more chicken with my chicken biryani for 15$. The butter naan is awesomeness. I enjoyed the kadi chicken it was on point

This is the same restaurant that used to be in the Fair Oaks Mall. We were sad when it closed. Their new location is at the George Mason University campus in Manassas.
I love their vegetarian options. The food is some of the best tasting Indian food around.

The food was okay. This place sells butter naan for $2.25 which is pricey but there is nothing better than a freshly baked butter naan to go with Indian curry so I added it to my order. Every other place that I have ordered that from sell freshly baked naan. What this place sent was a sorry looking triangular shaped pre-baked naan. You can buy them in the freezer section of any Indian grocery store. A pack of 5 of those naans costs less than $2. That is just atrocious and ruined the whole experience!

Tried the Spice Route for the first time this evening, ordered through DoorDash for pickup. The food was great! It’s tough to find good Indian food but this place does well – the curries were spicy and full of flavor, and they were very generous with the rice! Great meal, we will definitely order again! One tip to the owners if they read this though – could you please write on the pots what each dish is? It can be confusing! 🙂

Food and service was good once when we dined in. The other times we did take out was bad. The last time was two weeks ago. We ordered two chicken 65 totalling about $14+. We got very less quantity. But, the main reason for this review is that he gave us some boiled chicken sauteed in some oil and onions and curry leaves for chicken 65. My guess is that he took some chicken pieces out from some curry he already had and sauteed them. Everybody knows that chicken 65 is deep fried and then sauteed.

Aside from having my card charged three times for the order, this place seemed very nice. Though it was takeout, the establishment was clean and the butter chicken tasted awesome. This is just a preference of mine but I prefer the chicken chunks a bit smaller. They put in some pretty massive chunks. I like the smaller pieces so it’s more infused with the sauce. The naan was delicious but on the thick side but, this is just a preference of mine again when I compare it to the style of naan that I like.
