We went upstairs to the Bourbon Bar. The atmosphere, food and service were phenomenal! In fact, my wife and I agreed that this was possibly the best meal of our lives! My wife had grilled swordfish in a coconut curry sauce. I had short ribs with a red wine demi reduction. We had truffle fries for an appetizer and for dessert; lemon cheesecake with blueberries and whipped cream and pecan pralines with a sous vide cinnamon apple and ice cream. The second dessert was really interesting. When I took a bite, I was transported back to my Grandma’s house. She never made this but all the flavors were reminiscent of many different desserts I had eaten as a child.

Atmosphere is awesome and our server was very attentative. A lot of folks talk about upstairs, but air seems really cold the last time we ate there. We sat down stairs and it was perfect. Highly recommended and the menu items and options are awesome! Wife had Bacon Burger and she loved it!

We enjoyed eating here so much we came a second time. Our first experience eating here, we drive 3 hours just for the experience.

Celebrated a birthday dinner here for friends while in town to visit the races. We sat in a front section, our own table/ area with a window in the front of the restaurant. The service was great. We enjoyed the East Coast oysters, and Grilled Oysters as well as the salad course, pictured Wedge Salad and Butternut Squash soup.

I tried the 501 Smoked Pork chop. I was told it was a sous vide preparation finished with a brief char grilling. The thick chop is served with a generous amount of peach bourbon BBQ sauce that’s really thick and rich with peach compote topping. I’ve always loved pairing sauteed or grilled apple with pork but I’ve never tried peach. The peach was diced and firm enough to fork and pair with a bite of chop… absolutely lovely, especially dipped in the sauce. I will say the first couple bites seemed a touch on the salty side but that subsided and only the cleaned bone was left on the plate. For dessert I chose the bread pudding which came with these amazing almost smokey flavored cherries and plenty of candied walnuts alongside a creamy scoop of ice cream. Delightful.

Great atmosphere. Service was okay. Ribeye was slightly under cook and tough. Appetizers and sides were great.

Great low key place to dine out. They had an extensive list of cocktails. Had the 501 smothered pork chops for an entree and andouille sausage as an appetizer. Both didn’t disappoint. Wait staff was excellent and offered suggestions. Reservations are required.

Every girls trip, my friends and I choose one really nice restaurant for a great night oyt. Unfortunately, this one was recommended to us by a local. The food itself was okay but the service was pretty reprehensible. First, the table we were given (for a 5people reservation) was a small round table that could not accommodate our plates and drinks comofortably. We were literally bumping into each other and turning over glasses. The worst part, however, was the waitress who was aloif and unconcerned about our comfort. Interestingly, our tab included both a food tax and a liquor tax. Interesting because we ate and drank at about 5 restaurants throughout the city and never incurred these taxes. Be careful with your money here.

The atmosphere and service are great, but it is not worth the cost. When you spend $250+ and still need to pick up food when you leave is proof enough, you were just bent over.
